自从看了这个新闻后就非常难过。 我们这这个星期四发生了一场车祸。一个当地的女
孩teenager把一个中国人一家撞了。祖父当场死亡，妈妈7个小时后也死了，一岁的小
baby重伤。警察也联系不到这家人的家人。更让人难过的是那个teenager说是她没有超
速，没有打电话和发短信。所以她最多只会判150天in jail. 而且这家人已经找了律师
，律师自然是帮着她说话，连记者写的笔调都是护这个女孩的。虽然说什么女孩很后悔
，但为什么那么快又去找律师还把责任推卸的干干净净？
那个地方的限速只有25mile. 车祸是在小区内发生的。如果她真的只开了25，怎么可能
把2个大人撞死？25是很慢很慢的。难道我物理很差？而且这个女孩是因为去捡她的手
机而引起的。她说她的手机从车前面的台子上掉了下来，她就一边开车一边捡。 捡的

知怎么保险卡也找不到了，也无法证明ownership，于是又算给我两个罚单！：一个是
无法出示保险卡（200加币），另外一个是不能证明ownership（200加币）。然后直接
让我下车，告诉我已经给我叫了拖车和出租车，其他的他一概不管。出庭后可以知道超
速罚单的数额，很有可能是数千加币。
小弟我现在很崩溃：希望各位可以给我指点一下

上个月凌晨4点在55限速的地方开到120。朋友在过弯道的时候没刹住车把车撞到路边栏
杆上勒，过了1分钟警察到了，因为警察没有开测速的所以不知道多快，他就问我们开
到多少，我们说60.他最后还是给我们开了RACING TICKET。我们本来是30号被传法庭，
但是我搞忘了，我朋友又回国了，我今天去了JAIL交了100块钱的BAIL.然后1月17号又
要重新上法庭，请问我这个事严重吗？他给我开的TICKET上面没有写多少速度，而且警
察当时也没有证据。就只是些我RACING。我当时本来不知道我朋友撞车了就直接走了，
后来我朋友打电话让我回去说车撞了。我回去的时候警察只要了我的驾照，没有要
TITLE和保险。还有我今天去JAIL,他们给我照了相还弄了FINGER PRINT。我进去以后坐
了2个小时才出来，以后会有记录，那我应该怎么消除记录，我只是因为没有按时上法
庭才进JAIL的。他们说我有记录了。还有我RACING TICKET大概会发我多少钱？谢谢各

上车前幽怨地望了我一眼 -- 也可能是恶毒地。。。
我因为下午有seminar 只好先自己开车回学校了。

1。先department A,一堆表，再 department B, 再。。。，终于，两周后到了FEDERAL
DEPARTMENT
2。寄过来一个LIST， 要体检，PHYSICAL TRAINING， MEDICAL EXAM，BACKGROUND
CHECK，填20个表，每个表上WARNING：“if you lost the key, you will be in jail
for 180 days" "if you provide any misleading information, you will be in
jail" "if you...., you will be in jail"..... 俺能活着填完这表吗？？？
3。全填完，检查完了，才刚刚开始。。。材料送去审查，MINIMUM 一个月。。。
关键是，这不是permanent position啊，只有六个月啊。。。
这是工作还是玩人啊，有木有啊!!!! |

牢狱之灾，如果真的面对这样的情况如何做可以减轻惩罚呢？
在美国代替坐牢的方法：
一般在美国犯罪大多数都算轻罪，比如小偷小摸被抓到，一般第一次犯轻罪基本不会坐
牢。但不表示不会受到惩罚，而是用其他方式代替坐牢的惩罚。
方法一 做社区服务 社区劳动 缴纳罚款代替坐牢
社区服务一般指的是到教堂医院去帮忙做杂工等，社区劳动则是到铁道边捡垃圾或者是
缴纳罚款。
很多时候轻罪可以通过社区服务、社区劳动或缴纳罚款来代替。
方法二 完成辅助教育课项目可以代替坐牢
在美国尤其加州的司法系统判刑是由法官决定而不是有陪审团决定，法官会让犯人做一
些事情代替坐牢。比如家暴就去上课、参加培训等让犯罪人学习暴力的危害，再辅助一
些社区服务、社区劳动或缴纳罚款，接受法官的考察来代替坐牢。
方法三 申请在家里坐牢
犯案需要坐牢但监狱的环境也确实不好，这时可以通过律师向法官提出申请在家里坐牢。
在家坐牢需要装配电子脚镣，佩戴者也会受到实时监控。
判处在家坐牢法官考虑的条件：
罪名是否严重；
初犯还是惯犯；
是否是Juvenile青少年犯罪；

valid licese shall be punished by not less than 2 days in jail, with 2nd
offense not less than 10 days in jail. The third time would be a felony for

，去prison. jail is run by local governments, mostly by counties in
