洞太大，用epoxy量需要很大。所以决定据木的方法修补。问题是哪儿能买到补上的木
头？
另外，weater treated 2x4和 pressure treated 2x4怎么区别？家里有一段2x4，怎么
知道是weather treated还是pressure treated？

can even use exterior wood filler. Pressure treated 2x4 usually greenish. |

新門可能沒法fit, hinge的位置也可能不同. 這點我還沒問contractor, 不知是他太有
經驗還是太沒經驗? 由於他有先說過要換jamb要加$500, 又在天冷多雨的東北部, 所以
我也怕麻煩, 希望換slab最省事.

Lows /HD 就可以买新门， 新门带所有的hardware 和 guilds. 最好买个insulated门
, 贵个$100刀左右， 将来，车库内要舒服好多。
貌似车库内墙没有装jamb, H型木框，guilds不可以直接装在sheetrock上， 装在jamb
上， jamb需要用southern yellow pine lumber， 普通的white/red pine不够结实。
一般的treated lumber就是southern yellow pine，因为treated 太湿， 可以先装上
， 半年后，干燥后才可以paint。treated lumber有重金属，不要用舌头舔lumber。买
的新门， 应该带详细的安装说明。
安装时。需laser level, ~ $50， 射出水平/垂直的激光线。
1个人 + 1帮手， 一个周末， 就能装上。 |

straight.
Use a long level and some shim should be able to fix it.
If you have not done this before, take your time, do not rush.
Shim the jamb to be perfectly verticle first (z axis)
Second make sure, all 3 hinges are in a straight line (z axis is not bowed)
Your door should be able to stop at any position after that. |

door jamb saw都不好用。我是用普通的circular saw去掉保护装置，高度用薄板调整
（当然太低了不行），使用时一定要小心。 |

最好两个saw都有）。Oscillating Tool也非常有用，不光是可以代替DOOR JAMB SAW，
在某些特定的木板切割也非常有用，可以完全替代Jig Saw。
LZ楼上所有的工具我都有，除了没买DOOR JAMB SAW，而感觉最有用的2个工具恰恰就是
Table Saw和Oscillating Tool。 |

1 Stripped oil pan bolt thread 油底壳螺纹损坏. 问题现象：油底壳螺丝拧不紧，
滑丝，渗漏。恶心指数：1，维修成本：oil pan $100 labor $100. 要说出了这问题其
实不能怪大众，怪只能怪换机油的人太SB使这么大力气拧螺丝，但是大众非要用这么软
的铝做油底壳，所以也难辞其咎。油底壳螺丝稍微用力大点就会把螺纹搞坏，坏了还只
能换油底壳解决。别的厂家要不用铁油底壳，要不把螺丝口用铁加固一下。很多大众车
机油消耗量大，有的还真不一定是烧的，而是这里漏出去的。有些aftermarket的复合油底
壳，用铝+铁的方式，可以解决这个问题，如果需要换的话可以考虑。
2 engine splash shield引擎下护板. 问题现象：引擎下护板损坏或丢失。恶心指数：
2，维修成本：parts $200, labor $30-50. 大众车底盘本来就低，再加上这么一套就
用几个卡扣固定的脆皮塑料下护板，开大众的人都知道只要稍微跑跑烂路或者蹭下便道

这个必须有，大众的油迪壳用驴好像是大众有个自己的说法。反正小工有点真够鲁。这
个怀的很普遍。
2 engine splash shield引擎下护板.
低，那是绝对的低。但是golfa4可不是楼主说的半包而是一大块钢板全包。还个油累死
人。我原来那个还托地无数次，好在有它保护车没事。但是那个钢板变形了。螺丝也丢
了。反正就那么对付上了，每次换油，师傅都累的一头大汗的卸下护板。
3 door jamb switch 门碰开关.问题现象：
很普遍
4 fuel door lock latch油箱盖拉线.
没碰到，觉得比本田的好。至少做工不错呵呵。
5 ABS pump.问题现象：
个别现象吧？
6 windshield washer hose break.
适用不当和大众设计有问题吗？
7 lower control arm bushing下摆臂胶套.
是的，我也换了奥迪的，我们都用奥迪的。我那个a4里面基本都是四个圈和bosch的。
用cheap的套套不可思议。

claybar & detailer, Klasse sealant.
今天周五下班早，于是决定及早下手，而且周末可能下雨。
到隔壁自动洗车冲洗一下，我也懒得下来就坐里面等。洗完了阳光小白男给hand dry了
一发。擦到车门还给我开门，我以为这是要出柜呢，原来是要给擦擦door jamb，哈哈
回来以后准备好家伙就开始了。主要就是两个步骤：claybar & sealant。买的都是最
小的包装，一是冰狐说过很耐用，二是可能弄完一次以后再也不想折腾了，多了浪费。
事实证明确实如此，就这两个步骤就花了150min，还不算最后抹平sealant的时间。准
备明天早上再来最后抹平，不知道这样可以不可以，有高手可以提点一下么？
现在这鬼天气是真热。claybar时候一直滴汗，还要小心不能弄到车上，还好是小coupe
，不敢想象大车怎么搞。用claybar我个人觉得不用摊开太扁，一般40-50g弄成1.5" x
3"这样比较好。原因是矩形方便折叠，折叠完一次就能继续用；而且这个大小可以保证

make one for you, similar to the prehung kind from home depot or you can
make one yourself from wood.
I have made many non standard size and shaped doors myself, top round (
arched), top not level, all kind of strange shape that can not be bought.
In your case, you may not need a door sill.
You can build the header and jambs first, if you make a six panel door, make

SCHLAGE locks which is much expensive. In the package with 2 set of locks (2

厨房面积。laminate 铺厨房不是很理想的材料，主要是防水问题，据铺了的人讲，要
比较小心维护，一有点水就马上搽干净，就还好吧，预算有限也不想折腾瓷砖了，所以
还是下决心铺了。如果你的subfloor有些地方踩上去嘎吱响，地板松了的地方四周一定
要先用螺丝钉固定好了，否则铺了floor以后那个踩的嘎吱声很烦心。

和方便一些。Miter saw不能切长条，所以仅有miter saw是不行的。Circular saw倒是
都可以切，但是非常费事。

三礼拜后搬的。胆小，还是蹭住两个月后再搬吧。就不该小农省钱，做二楼地板的时候
