好像最近才有，以前没有发现，不知道可不可以利用其来算 top percentile，好像没
说总共统计了多少杂志。

领域的journal里. 这些journal在SJR或者JCR里都没有被分到我所在的领域或者工程类
里，比如有个划到了医学类，排名大都在20%左右。但这些journal的SJR或者IF分值比
我所在领域的top 1 journal还高。
我想问诸位，是否能比较这些journal与我所在领域内的top journal的SJR或IF分值，
来证明这些journal也是属于top journal呢？是否能用SJR中journal的比较功能（
compare）证明此journal虽然没有被SJR在我所在的领域内进行排名，但也可以被认为
是我所在领域的一个top journal呢？ |

不用介绍所有journal。只列出对你有利的

这个也不是必须的，有些人用的是IF，看哪个对你有利。
Score是分数，ranking是该journal在所有journal中的排名百分比，不分领域。
Eigenfactor Ranking有两种方法得出
（1）直接采用网页上的数据：从首页，搜索到你的journal，有一列数据是“
Percentile”，下面有EF，AI，用 “1－EF％” 就是该journal的 top ranking。如果
你的journal的 EF percentile 是100或99，你可以说 ranking < 1％。这种方法的
ranking数据比较粗略，但数据直接，不用过多解释怎么计算。
（2）手动计算：搜索到你的journal 的 EF score，然后在首页点击进入 “2011
scores”，翻页找到你的journal，其中“order”那一列的数据就是该journal的排名
。用 “order”的数据除以 12286，就是 top ranking。 12286是 Eigenfactor 收录

acceptance rate的文章。
2.发信给那种负责答疑的editor吧。
问问那种负责管理的Editor吧，他们的email里如果给个rough number就可以用。
我计算过一个selection rate,也许对你有启发。
我是这样做的，2007年article A被 圈内journal J highlight了，我想知道是top%的
文章才能被highlight,所以发信问了一个管理的editor。得到的回复是，
他们要screen 有10种 Journals，即 journal 1, journal 2, journal 3。。。
我的计算：
2007 Journal 1 发表文章总数t1
2007 Journal 2 发表文章总数t2
.
.
.
2007 Journal 10 发表文章总数t3
因为highlight 我的A 文章的J 是月刊，所以计算了
平均一个月被screen的文章是：(t1+t2...+t10)/12= tn

发帖数: 61 | 15 今天2013 JCR IF终于出来了，今年比较有看头，因为有很多新兴的journal, 它们与老
牌journal之间的竞争是看点。简单说一下我的看法。
1. NPG
Nature publishing groups的Nat sub整体来讲继续高歌猛进，Nat Commun干掉了PNAS
， Nat Genetics/Materials/Biotech/Nanotech持续保持高Impact factor (>30), 有
的甚至比Science和Cell都高。Nat Biotech去年IF波动较大，今年强势反弹。Nat Med
这个老牌杂志现在看来是越来越走下坡路了，但是应该不会跌倒20以下。Nat Climate
Change第一年的IF非常不错，但是上升前景不是十分乐观。Nat Chem Bio和Nat Struct
Mol Bio影响因子下降，前景不如Nat Commun. Nat Neuro中规中矩，表现令人满意。
Nat Methods继续看涨，但继续大幅上升的可能性不大。总体来讲，Nat sub表现十分抢

circulation和circulation research，都在11分以上了，以前circulation是拼不过
JCI的。
期待eLife的影响因子

这样一来，是不是就没法吹胡了？

journal of Biomolecular Screening。 找了很久想不出好办法。如果有谁有正好有材

成功的例子：BBRC, IF = 2.5, 但是它的卖点是“Number 1 journal in the Thomson'
s JCR ranking for Biophysics in terms of Total Cites, Number of Articles and

你也可自己做两个.bib文件来对应自己的journal
一个文件(比如叫做full.bib)里面放所有的journal的全称
比如 @STRING{J_EXAMPLE = "Full Name"
另外一个(比如叫做abrv.bib)里面放所有的journal的简写
比如 @STRING{J_EXAMPLE = "Fl Nm"
而在你放文献的文件(比如叫做ref.bib)里面，当引用journal名字的时候，
写journal = J_EXAMPLE，而不是journal = "Full Name"
在你的tex里面
\bibliography{full,ref}的时候可以生成全称的journal名字
\bibliography{abrv,ref}的时候可以生成简写的journal名字 |

片文章同时也投到另一个journal上；在投第一个journal的时候，我agree了这片文章
不能同时投别的journal （这也好像是common sense吧），但还是想把它发表在第二个
journal上（它的影响因子要高）。
我的打算是，如果两投，两篇journal在review的过程当中，出review结果（accept or
reject)会有个先后，如果哪个journal accept 同时要求我modify的话，我就
withdraw另外一个journal的，大家觉得我这样的想法会有什么样的后果？

journal Statistica Sinica是很好的journal 但一般不會和JASA, Annals JRSB
Biometrika 這四大並列成top journal
另外Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics 和 Biometrics可能也有
不少人認為是top journal或很接近top journal
Peter Hall他們做了一個機率統計期刊的ranking 其中A+的他們認為是top journal 這
只是一種指標 不過可以做個參考 大致上離一般人的印象差不了多少

的问题是领域内journal的排名。我的领域是一个跨专业的领域（MEMS），介于EE和ME
之间，但是我的journal在这两个专业的journal里排名都很低，但是在我所知道的MEMS
的journal里是数一数二的。但是网上也找不到一个权威的MEMS journal列表。这种情

题：
（1）我的publication都是二级学科专业杂志最好的，所以都是按照学科分类排。如果
按IF，很多都是review类journal排前，所以我用Eigenfactor score来排，都还能不错
，这个IO认可吗？是不是给排名证据必须统一？能不能有的Eigenfactor有的给IF? 有
没有必要给多个source的排名？比如我的用JCR的Eigenfactor和Scimago Journal
ranking排名都还不错。貌似Scimago能给得更细分类，这样有的很普通杂志就能排比如
2/13了，意义大吗？
（2）给的证据页，是不是每个杂志都附一张JCR或者Scimago里打印出来的categary排
名表，把所在journal highlight上？还是自己做个table？
（3）一些杂志编辑会在自己的某期里写短评分析自己journal的ranking，说自己按照
immediate index能排No.1，说明“作者发表的paper在短期内受到关注最高”。有的主

种搜索都排不进20%。发现大家都说不到10%的就不要列在PL里，可是只列三个journal
会不会太少，足够证明 "my articles are published in leading prestigious

Committee on Journals (Robert Hall [chair], Judith Chevalier, David Colander
, Peter Diamond, Alan Krueger, and Daniel Rubinfeld) recommended to the
Executive Committee in April 2006 that the Association start four aggregated
field journals, each published in four issues per year. Each new journal

果是single space的，就超长了。另外的那几个journal，如果作为research article
，都太短了，很少在那些journal上见到这么短的文章。
你说的journal，我觉得都是二流general journal。为什么不试试field journal呢？
对职业发展来说，field journal的影响力通常会大些。 |

，现在JOURNAL过了第一轮REVIEW，CONFERENCE VERSION已经在会议上PRESENT了。但是
有一个JOURANL VERSION的REVIEWER向JOURNAL投诉说我们的文章已经会议上PRESENT了
，然后JOURNAL的人要我们解释。
我们这一行一向是JOURNAL和CONFERENCE不冲突的，没想到有人会这样投诉，请问大家

，而且我们本专业影响因子最高的杂志主编，当时他邀请我协调这个jounral club的时
候，我想都没想，就答应了。刚开始的几个月，一切顺利，谁知今天我碰上难题了。
一欧洲访问学者B（是大老板手下的短期访问学生）在开会期间找到了有趣的一个topic
,并且拿到了那篇尚未发表的文章，经那作者允许，可以在我们的journal club讨论.
这个访问学者8月15号就要回国了，所以他想在8月3日那天讨论，而且之前他和大老板A
非常希望我的老板C参加讨论，但今天得知我老板C 8月9日就度假去了，所以必须在8月
3日讨论。
但我协调的时候，忘了8月3日是每个月的第一星期，这个journal club在开始就约定俗
成，每个月的第一星期，都有另外一个老板D他们组的学生或者薄厚主持，度假回来，
我发最近joural club schedule的时候，居然把这事忘了，结果老板D昨天跑到我办公
室提醒我，是否每月第一周还是他们的duty，我说肯定是，不好意思，我弄错了。

地方可以查journal的接收率呀,review 时间呀, flexible 程度呀的什么的?
去年瞎投了几个journals. impact factor差不多的,都 review了两到三个月,有的很
rigid, 只要一个reviewer给negative comments, 就直接拒,没revise或rebuttal机会
, 有的很flexible,有两个negative reviewers还是让改最后还是接收了. 但也不能
所有paper以后都投这一个journal呀.
大家都是怎么选journal的呢? |

可以既算作一篇Conference paper 又算作一篇Journal paper吗? Paper 的内容和标题
几乎完全一样.技术上应怎么在RESUME里写才妥当?是否应该将conference papers 和
journal papers分开列然后在该conference paper 后注明同一paper 也发表在某某
journal 上?或者根本就不能将其同时作为journal paper 和conference paper 列出?
请注意:Conference paper 和journal paper 的内容和标题几乎完全一样.请大家指教,

impact factor, for journal C choose SJR from SJR ranking, for journal D
choose total cites so that all published journals are on the top 5%.
