国际级华裔钢琴大师郎朗重临大温。今次他不只前来演奏,而且亲自指导一项钢琴课程──「郎朗大师班」。该课程日前在温哥华市中心的通利琴行举行。这三个接受郎朗演奏指导的钢琴天才生,从众多竞选者中挑选出来。这次虽是钢琴指导课,却吸引众多钢琴学生、家长、教师及粉丝前来,令该琴行三楼音乐厅座无虚设,240个座位全满,连楼下电视直播室也有50人观看。
郎朗从纽约飞抵温哥华,出席了11 月4日温哥华交响乐团(VSO)演奏会,5日到通利琴行为温市钢琴学子提供大师级学习机会。三个得到郎朗指导的本地钢琴天才生是:年仅9岁、考取皇家音乐学院钢琴九级的Vera Lu;年仅17岁、具备教学级(ARCT)资格的Jovian Cheng;以及取得教学级(ARCT)资格、现就读道格拉斯学院(Douglas College)钢琴和作曲学课的18岁学生Trevor Hoffmann。他们都经过郎朗大师班甄选委员会,从25个称为小小钢琴家的基本大师班学员中,抽籤选出。
逾200粉丝排队索取签名
郎朗说:「音乐是活的,需要感情的投入」。大师班不但吸引钢琴学生听课,课程结束后逾200粉丝和观众排队个多小时,索取郎朗亲笔签名以及拍照

It's not every day someone finds 11 moons that had gone unnoticed in the four
centuries since the telescope was invented and Galileo figured out that
Jupiter had four satellites and the Earth couldn't be the center of the
universe. Yet, remarkably, it has happened twice in the past two years -- in
January 2001 and again Thursday.
SPACE.com had some questions for the University of Hawaii's David Jewitt, one
