junk yard或者拆开卖零件。有时候他们还会推荐铺子帮你做这些。
如果他或者你愿意多费点心，就查找当地最便宜的body shop，一般都比正规铺子便宜

除了junk yard,还可能卖给谁？
再买一辆车可以有抵税的吗？

个小时长途也没问题。外表也凑活。后来这个朋友回国了。托朋友卖车，拖来拖去，那
个朋友根本没帮他卖。现在 registration 和保险全部过期，车子也有半年没开了。准
备卖给 junk yard 了，如何找个 junk yard 呢？要求不高，能卖 500 就行了。
我在翻 local 的报纸，也没找到收旧车的广告。 |

近的dealer问说可以match，但是要加$340 junk accessories，还说那个远的dealer要
beat他这个dealer的月销售额，所以才会这么低，还说不一定能给我21.5k OTD。要是
有tint我就在他这买了。然后去远的dealer，说是要加700刀的accessories，tint倒是
包括的，还有一个什么interior sealant要400刀，坚决拒绝400刀的junk accessory，
最后是21.6k拿下还要了1个free oil change。办贷款时，还要给我一刀，一开始要多
收300刀，被我识破，最后自己用信用卡付了3k，剩下的就贷款了，拿到0.9％，3年的
。最后加上利息和一个什么36刀的贷款保险费一共是21.91k。一开始打算买旧车，花了
1个多月和200刀检查／carfax，今天一天搞定。dealer说这个价格也就是今天和明天，

minivan空间是比st wagon大不少，但是比较方，而且放东西多了总得把中排座fold起

放不进去，害得我现在都不敢买12ft的只能买10ft的；可是就算这个10ft也很郁闷，必
须架在仪表盘上面，这样买少了还好，买多了就看不到后视镜。。。。
另外就是买drywall，肯定是要放顶上的，里面都放不下，但是st wagon比minivan矮很

人也不能自理，我老公每天要给我换药照顾我，还要开车带我去看医生复查，如果没有

前段时间帮一个访问学生买车，专门找的one owner, 买了一个
2000 Dodge Intrepid R/T 3.5L V6, 150K miles。
当时拿到mechanic 检查了一下，车况很好，除了前轮轮胎跟rod有点松，需要换，其他
没什么问题。 One owner，女士开的，她跟老公中产白人，退休了，把房子卖了马上要
进行5年sailing。因为急着卖，价格也不错，才2千4. 因为是6缸，所以预计能开挺久
的。
这个车是3.5 L V6 引擎，不是那个著名的 2.7L。这个引擎应该能够跑很久吧。车是
one owner，一直有保养。去年刚换的 timing belt.
买了一个月，在路上坏了。dealer 发现是节流阀坏了，修理需要1千块。
值得修吗？刚来的访问学生，没车很不方便。

第一辆是个00年的camary，换过timing bell，换过刹车，换过轮胎，换过三元催化器
，直到有一天它引擎灯亮了……去修，又亮了……然后，出车祸了，还没等我再修，它
就已经是个junk car了。
第二辆是实验室毕业的同学的小三菱，galant 01年的，先是电池无法充电，拿到店里
检测，电池好的，充电系统，start系统也好的。我很无语，但是没辙，拿回来了。依
然半路死在路上，然后我有备用电池，大马路上换电池。然后昨天它表演发动机过热，
直接冒烟了……我真心服气了，估计也是junk car的节奏。
现在和二手老破车大战的结果是：我再也不想修车了！我再也不想半路自己拿出工具箱
对着车敲敲打打了，心理压力太大。
所以，我现在就想找辆省心，有保修的车开开。
所以……可以是全新的车，也可以是1－2年以内的preown的车。
不需要大，大车学校里面停车不方便，自己倒车也痛苦。我又不搬大件，何必那么大车
呢？
发动机对于我来说，1。6L左右最合适……太大了浪费，我又不是飙车党。
住在新泽西，美东我基本靠火车，出远门都是先飞再租车。

我这边的税率7％，PA的dealer B的详细报价是这样的～
MSRP-$19,555 Internet Special-$16,249 (15,749 with student
discount)
Nj tax 7% 1,137.43, DMV 104.90, Doc 131, Total 17,622.33
我这个DMV fee便宜一点是因为我不要新牌照而是转牌照，不过就算上个新牌也不过贵
一两百块而已。我目前的小三菱昨天发动机过热冒烟了，我已经不想修它了，准备卖
junk car。难道这破车也能trade in吗？卖junk car不需要牌照吧？汗一个。
然后，我其实准备cash买车，所以dealer没法从我finance里面赚钱。
所以按照大侠的分析，这个dealer B的报价其实已经相当的贴近底价？我基本可以考虑
拿着支票去提车了吗？
如果如此我就省事了，因为看着focus的dealer在那边各种跟我忽悠，我已经要吐血身
亡了。

定的junk yard，当场拿到支票。一共大概一个多月？
我的89老车卖了$1500. 这种车本来就不该继续上路一边污染环境一边浪费大家（修车
）的生命。

网上查到附近一个junk yard刚好有一辆，于是电话问了一下后杀过去，特意叮嘱对方
等我到了再拆，以便我看看能不能自己整。
在junk yard看车真是另一番风情，目无全牛啊。技师咔咔咔就把座位拆下来，buckle
卸下来给我了，付钱走人，感觉只要工具趁手，也没啥复杂的。回去花了四十分钟搞定
，十分happy，体会到自己动手的乐趣。
得意难免忘形，出去转了一圈，带回一张ticket，省点钱都出去了，白忙两天，sigh。 |

gasket一般的车都好换的，这其实就要说到引擎空间了，有的车别说head gasket了，
就是valve cover gasket换一下都要拆半天。你总不能因为火花塞漏点机油进去就整车
junk了吧，headgasket挂了junk整车还说的过去。
至于overheating的问题，如果coolant没漏，水泵没坏，恒温器也没坏，head gasket
也没漏，那真是见鬼了。这方面的问题，有的引擎很好拆水泵，有的搞的你半死，你可
能会说，没事谁去换水泵，其实不说太老的车，开个六七万需要换水泵的真挺多的。 |

发帖数: 15913 | 41 老熬败换timing belt最好找dealer或专修subaru的店，你现在没有什么好选择了，可
以在CL当成part卖吧，另外很多这个年代的老熬拜是因为head gasket坏了被junk掉，
你如果能从junk yard拆下两边的engine head，可以找人装到你的车上，engine head
最好re-surface一下，换上新的gasket和timing belt，当然这要冒一些风险。
