2. I tell people "Just call me Sam, that makes it much easier". In the CV,
and email communications, I go by like "San (Sam) Zhang".
Think of yourself in the shoes of others. It facilitates the communication
and make it easier for other people to remember you.
Once an administrator in my department told me. "Yes, I can remember you by
