central asia先搞搞清楚，你一定从伊朗回大陆，比较现实的方法是走巴基斯坦从从红
旗拉甫山口到喀什；如果你拿大陆护照，jordan要反签的，要一个月（暗自窃笑一下自
己03年还可以落地签的时候去过）；如果你拿美国护照，巴基斯坦大使馆的那个伊朗的
什么机构，要求美国公民通过旅行社订好行程；如果你拿大陆护照，你不能象那些欧洲
人一样到Istanbul搞伊朗签证，那个大使馆不给中国人发签证的；还有就是我压根没搞

元比不加盖的黄2爷地位低一点，老夫故称之为三爷。
此旧票色彩亮丽, 销十一年十一月廿八日的疏附Shufu/(Kashgar)戳. 虽然不是全戳,但
信息全,难得.更难的得是,黄3爷上十之八九多见的是迪化(乌鲁木齐)戳, 疏附(现在的
喀什)戳实在难得.
两个黄3爷新票原来是对联票, 被人中间撕开了. 现在它俩并肩站着我的集子里, 倒也
不离不弃.
在《华邮集锦》第八卷第80页，出身名家。唯下边略有短齿，是美中之不足。
更少见，也算得上是民国珍品了。想当年民国之初（1917），国内邮资仅3分。此票面
值20（银元），在当时可购买400斤小米面，或者100斤猪肉，大约是普通工人一个月的

发帖数: 141625 | 44 今天看到一份90年代康奈尔大学东亚系的手册，其中有些中国老照片蛮有意思。
康奈尔是常春藤学校中最年轻的一个，1865年建校。但东亚项目发展得很早，建校五年
后就开出中文课作为本科选修课程。19世纪上半叶中，康奈尔的中国学生达到3500个，
占中国留美学生的12%。著名校友包括胡适（1914届，农业系）和赵元任（1914届，数
学系），他们日后都成为20年代中国文艺复兴运动的领导人物（ “leaders of the
Chinese renaissance of the 1920s”）。
这张照片是1922年的北京城，一队西亚（双峰）骆驼（Bactrian camels）走过Tung An
Chieh（屯安街?）：
20年代到30年代初，康奈尔和南京大学合作搞了个农作物改良计划（Crop Improvement
Project），成功培育小麦、水稻、大豆等优良品种，也培养了一批优秀的中国农学家
，在合作项目结束后继续研究工作。这是1934年的棉花大丰收：
之后康奈尔又以此项目为模板，和日本、美国农业部、联合国等搞了多项农业技术合作

首先标题就是 China: Unrest in Kashgar, Xinjiang, leaves 15 dead。 Unrest 这个词是个中性词，通常指公众以静坐 ，抗议，骚乱等方式表达最社会体系不满。是一类常见政治行为。（见http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_disorder）。
而前天的这个事件，完全就是恐怖袭击，又制造爆炸又杀人，早就超出了unrest的范畴。
当然，把中国的歹徒洗白成抗议者，也是BBC的老把戏了。
