talking about the first report only?
(2) Your second paragraph mentioned "the food." Did you mean tempeh? Having
come from Taiwan, I have resided in US (nostly in Boston) for a quarter
century. I almost forget how to speak or write Chinese.
(a) But Tempeh originated from Java, Indonesia. There was no such thing in
Taiwan before I left there in 1984. Apparently Japanese consider it foreign,

What it meant was that SUNTORY blue rose APPLAUSE™ サントリー ブル
ー ローズ アプローズ has the same Katakana 片仮名 (used for imported loan
words) for "rose" and the last two letters of "applause."
The Japanese pronunciation for
(a) rose 薔薇 【ばら】 (English pronunciation: "bara")
and (b) 喝采 【かっさい】 (English pronunciation: "kassai")
can not form the basis of the above statement.

日本的手机一直不能象palm那样烧rom吧。记得手机公司不开放OS的代码
以前有过几种输入法，比如大的有chinese writer，不太好用
小的有基于windowsIME的输入法
都可以用拼音输入，输出的字不是GB,而给swap到日文字库。
估计是把基本字库的代码直接给换到日语汉字了。
韩国字好像日语字库里也有。日语的katakana在中文的第几级字库里好像也有

不知为什么，好像大家总说日本人英语怎么怎么差，但是英语中有那么多的外来语，
虽然被翻译成了日语，但词汇量还是很大的。而且越是专业的词汇，外来语越多，都是
katakana表示的，像医院里，化妆品的说明书之类的。

Doraemon" (ドラえもん?) is written in a mixture of two Japanese scripts:
katakana (ドラ) and hiragana (えもん). "Dora" is from "dora neko" (stray
cat, どら猫), and is a corruption of nora (stray). "Emon" is a component of
male given names, such as Goemon, though no longer as popular as in the past
