Gran Turismo 5 still isn't finished. In fact, Polyphony Digital boss
Kazunori Yamauchi has made it sound as though it's in the same state it was
five months ago, if not longer.
"About 90 per cent of the game is done," Yamauchi told Inside Line (thanks
VG247). "We are just working on the last 10 per cent and polishing up
everything."

Yamauchi made yet another statement about the questionable status of Gran
Turismo 5’s weather system:
“Night racing is going to be a part of GT5, but with things like
dynamic weather, the choice is about whether it will improve the experience.
The functionality is not a problem – we’ve got the weather system done –
but if we are not sure about the quality of it, and how it improves the

fill. Considering the game’s rich history Gran Turismo immediately calls
to mind a near perfect racing simulator. Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori
Yamauchi is well known for his attention to detail which has fueled much of
the speculation that GT5 may not make the calendar year.
Dille officially ends that speculation while conveniently being ambiguous as
