and another in police custody.
According to Big Island police, a Subaru multi-purpose vehicle operated by a
26-year-old Hilo man was traveling west on the highway when it attempted to
overtake another car and collided with a Ford pickup truck traveling in the
opposite direction.
The driver of the Subaru was killed.
The driver of the truck, identified as a 52-year-old Keaau man, suffered

2 arrested after 80 pounds of avocados stolen from Puna orchard
PUNA, BIG ISLAND
Two men have been charged with trespassing and theft after allegedly
stealing avocados from a Puna orchard.
The theft happened Wednesday afternoon at an orchard off Highway 132 in
Kapoho.
Police said the owner of the orchard confronted two men and a woman in a
pickup truck on his property, and had blocked the truck from leaving before
calling police.

选在11月中旬,旅游淡季.在大岛呆了五个白天，进出都是在西边的Kona机场，Waikoloa
呆了两晚，Hilo两晚，Kailua-Kona一晚。时间如果紧的话行程还可压缩，见最后的三
日精华游安排。当然既然是度假，一般没必要那么赶，即使在酒店呆上一整天游泳晒太
阳也挺好。
