as many as 30, making it by far the most powerful device North Korea has yet
tested.
It triggered an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3, alerting South Korea of
the event before its troublesome neighbour confirmed it. By comparison,
North Korea’s previous test, in January this year, was estimated at six

。可以说震级决定了当量。
朝鲜上次核武实验（2016年9月9日）的震级在5.2左右，这次震级如果确定在6.3，那么
当量（能量）应该是上次的30多倍，超过60万吨，可能就是真的两级氢弹了。
从NORSAR最新公布的朝鲜核武实验地震波形图上看，他们判读朝鲜这次核爆实验的震级
为5.8，当量在12万吨左右。如果按照震级6.3来计算，那爆炸当量就超过60万吨了。
