苹果（NASDAQ: AAPL）为股市的收益贡献良多，Barclays升级了苹果的股票，摩根士丹
利提升苹果的目标价，最终纳斯达克上涨0.6%。Amzon（NASDAQ: AMZN）和Google（
NASDAQ: GOOGL）的上涨也提升了科技股为主的指数。
标普指数上涨了0.5%，已经收复了上周损失的一半以上。道琼指数上涨了0.7%，这要归

石岛城（Rock Island）的Augustana College和华中师大是30年的友好院校，这是为什么天空女子合唱团来这里演出的姻缘。不过，这个小院校的免费音乐会真是不少，让人佩服。
看介绍，天空女子合唱团在国际上拿过许多的奖项，这次来还要去参加一个国际比赛，而且势在必得。下边是他们近年来得过的奖，实力非凡！
2001年“全国大学生艺术歌曲演唱比赛”专业组一等奖；
2001年奥地利第18届国际休伯特合唱比赛“演唱特别大奖”及女声组第三名；

不想自己瞎弄了，打算去医院看看。我买的是PSI的保险，网上搜索“Find Network
Doctor”，不知道该搜surgery还是什么具体类别，干脆就选的hospital。在附近
找(New Orleans)到3家医院：EAST LAKE HOSPITAL
ELMWOOD MEDICAL CENTER
KINDRED HOSPITAL NEW ORLEANS
一般是不是就随便选一家了？

感激是一种感觉，突然的，一句话，一个行动，都会打到人心里去。依婷强把要涌出来的眼泪憋了回去，对Dan说，“谢谢，我从小就有IBS，不知道什么时候就会犯，没事儿了，我现在不疼了。”
两人对视了几秒，依婷又有一种想哭的感觉。这时候，远处的大厅里传来音乐，“夏天最后一支玫瑰”。看来表演马上就要结束。依婷抿着嘴唇，伸出手，放到 Dan的胸前，说，“谢谢你的关心，我该走了。不要跟着我，人会说闲话的。” 她转身疾步向大厅的方向跑去，留下Dan站在那里目视着她的远去。

一想，这句话有点废。如果大家对爱情的理解有所不同，关键就是不同在怎么理解“特
殊”吧。
希望自己 “不断创新的追求“ 没有错。不过，在我看来，在未恋爱前对对方有个定
位，期望对方也要不断有追求，如果不是，就觉得不相与谋，这是不是有点过？个人观
点，爱情和友情的不同处，就在于爱情是不需要以这些“共同”的追求作为前提的，它
可以以各种奇怪的原因或者没有原因而发生。 当然能不能过得下去是另一回事。

1. 会议名字叫做Developmental Biology of the Sea Urchin，每一年半在Wools Hole
的MBL开一次，至今第20届，推来有30年的历史了。名字叫做Sea Urchin Meeting，其
实参加会议的还有很多做各种海洋生物的研究者。做海胆的目前没有中国大陆的PI，台
湾的前不久有了一个，日本和欧洲的不少，主要的还是北美的。北美大多数都是Eric
Davidson和David McClay的徒子徒孙们。这两位都年过七旬，会上给David McClay搞了
个简短的70岁庆祝。David每天跑步5英里，看起来就是五十多岁的样子。他亲自做实验
，micromere transfer做得是炉火纯青。Eric年纪更大些，据说因为得病，腿脚不好，
传说腿脚利索时还亲自潜水下海捞海胆。这两人自然都是大牛，文章灌水就不多说了，

LOR里面说在病人身上做了什么操作还是有点冒险滴，怕是大多数PD都知道IMGs are
not supposed to do so. 如果没猜错的话，LZ去的那个地方应该是Scottsdale
Healthcare Shea,我和一个朋友也去过那里，是一个phoenix suburb的社区医院，非常
公道的说，这个算是不错滴，就我和我朋友的经历而言，比较好的还有Kindred
Hospital Rome（听说不知何故不准IMG去了，不知现况如何）和SUNY downstate（个人
感觉教学医院faculty的LOR比社区医院的还是有力度）,我和我朋友去过的另外的地方
就实实在在不敢恭维了，现在想起来都挺抓狂，当然肯定还有些其他比较好的地方，仅
供参考。希望像我们一样没有connection的同学多找一些做OB的信息源，如果万不得已
只能走commercial extern这条路，也尽可能多问问做过的同学，找对attending，拿到

Level I Trauma Center) is Baylor's teaching hospital. It is a county
hospital and many of its patients are uninsured or underinsured.
Methodist is a great place to work. I believe it has ranked the top 100
places to work in the U.S. for the past several years. I work at the CVICU
of this hospital. Very fast pace, lots of stress but a great place to learn.
