后CES上宣布说卖了八个million。更重要的是它直接导致现在很多kinect-alike东西的
出现。而kinect是license了prime sense的技术。
我觉得somehow应该有些地方可以挖掘一下，但是prime sense吧还没上市，微软自己又
太大这kinect卖的再火对它来说还只是一个小小的revenue source。不知道这种情况应
该从哪里下手呢？ |

一些了不起的技术创新，或者实现了一些竞争对手(比如 Nintendo, Wal-Mart) 难于
实现, 或者花钱也买不到，需要花大力气 in-house development 的功能，请举例说
明, 不要笼统的让别人看手册。
kinect 核心技术和 know-how 都来自于 primesense, primesense 上的示范应用
对于这种技术能做什么，如何做都很清楚。我没有从 kinect 上看到概念性升华或
跳跃。除非你认为给 primesense 加个语音识别功能，或者人脸识别功能是突破。

下就大谈贡献了。希望这不是普遍情况。
所谓能在任何光照情况下都工作的 camera, 这不是 MSFT 的贡献，请不要盗窃
primesense 的技术。说白了很简单，就是靠 kinect 里内嵌的红外辅助光源
和红外 filter. 这是 open trick, 也是 primesense 的原有设计，不是 MSFT
magic algorithm 的功劳，在自然光照下, 用普通摄像头，无约束的 3d tracking
至今是 open problem, 如果 MSFT 的 magic algorithm 可以搞定的话建议申请
重大奖项。
基于刚体假设的实时肢体跟踪也是 CV 里少见的几个 non ill-posed problems,
数学基础和解法都很成熟，主要的挑战在图像分割那里，但在实用中一般靠加
reflective marker (motion capture industry) 或者红外照明 + 深度信息
来绕过。搞这种东西的公司很多，有很多现成的库可以买，MSFT 不是这个领域

对成象的要求不一样，怎么兼顾? 电视到Kinect的音频回路怎么用软件处理? Kinect里
面有一个fan, 要怎么layout才会不出现过多的噪音? 这里面有很多工程问题，不是写
几行代码就能搞定的.
PrimeSense对于Kinect的贡献很明显也很关键, 这一点没有人不承认, 反之亦然. 你需
要有了解才能发言. 如果这些技术资料都不能让你搞明白,没有人能改正你心中的偏见.
我拭目以待其他的厂商能很快做出能有竞争力的产品. 你真觉得简单不妨自己试试, 能做成比现在在这里说大话强. |

为，勇敢的尝试，即使最后失败了，也比因为害怕失败，什么都不做要强。
我想反驳的是两点 1. kinect 还没有推出，能不能成功，是不是革命性产品还有待
市场检验。而不是像某些人说的那样，已经成功，显然是革命性产品
2. kinect 里有多少所谓 MSFT 的技术含量和 magic algorithms, 是不是如某些人

but had complete Xbox 360 systems packaged ($300 and up) with the new
sensor and game in stock. Some bricks-and-mortar stores had Kinect systems
available; others sold out by late morning.

11月4号排了两个小时队，终于把期盼已久的Kinect扛回家；话不多说，立刻开耍。3天
下来，有一些感受打算分享，诸位看官请轻拍……
1. 可视角度
我家就我跟老婆两个人；感觉可视角度虽然不是非常宽，但是两个人玩还是足够了。我
们俩住apartment，客厅也不大。老婆特地把客厅整理了一下，清理出一块地方，正好
够我们俩玩。
2. 延迟
基本上没有延迟，除了乒乓球，但不严重，不影响游戏。我个人感觉是，稍微提前一些
做动作，可以做慢一些。
3. 识别能力
我个人感觉对动作的识别能力还是相当准确的，但是还没到非常精确。举个例子，
Dance Central里的Hey Mami， Easy级别里有几个动作要先下蹲，后做动作：下蹲->交
叉臂，下蹲->Step等等，我总是做反；不过只要做了交叉臂/Step，后下蹲也会被认为
动作准确。
4. 视频对话/语音识别
没兴趣，也没时间使用，光顾着玩了……我们跟国内家人视频一般用QQ……
5. 游戏

这个deal今天闪一下就没啦
其实我这local的kmart货还比较充足阿。俺昨天去买还很多，今天去了还看见不少呢。
只能说明我这tax太高，神医护士就不在这闹啦。
其实kinect的要求空间还可以阿，没那么夸张。我一个小小的1 bedroom 玩起来挺好，
没压力。而且我还放了３桌子、一沙发、一床在客厅。
而且我家领导和老妈都挺喜欢这个kinect的。对我来说很直阿，我还用了ＧＣ买的。
感觉kinect的最大特点就是需要你全身都动起来，不是手臂挥挥而已。
转一个别人的建议，我很认同：
- 如果你喜欢和朋友同乐，把妹，或者自认为属于Party Animal之类的玩家，那么K绝
对是一款聚会利器，Dance Central也是最棒的“多功能”游戏之一，所以K非常值得你入手。
- 如果你有家人：老婆，孩子，想要找一个全家同乐的游戏方式，那么K是最适合你的
，不同年龄（请参考身体状况…），性别，类型的人或多或少都能在K里找到乐趣。

正确的做法是：
1.在adventure游戏中，左臂与身体成45度角，屏幕左下方会出现左臂与身体成45度角
的灰色卡通图标。
2.维持这个动作几秒钟，会出现一个menu，选择quit退出正在进行的游戏。
3.重复1直到出现一个menu里面有个选项是kinect hub,晃动手臂可选择。
4.进入kinect hub后用语音控制，say "xbox",等屏幕下方出现dashboard字样，然后说
“dashboard”,最后说“YES”。
在Kinect所有操作完全不需要手柄。 |

硬核和轻度玩家都能兼顾,卖的肯定是好了.

想法，但是记不记得《生活大爆炸》里Raj和Howard打印出的那对丑爆了的真人模型，
随便打印自己风险还是不小的。
最近一家3D打印机厂商推出了叫做Shapify.me的新服务，能以全彩色的形式扫描和打印
用户身体，从而让我们可以打造出与自己一模一样的迷你版3D模型，而且重点是只需要
有一台带有Kinect的Xbox 360就可以了。
Shapify.me目前支持Windows PC和Xbox 360的Kinect，下载相关应用程序后只需要在
Kinect前把自己3D扫描一下就可以向Shapify.me下订单打印自己了，价格为59美元。
虽然价格比较贵，而且Kinect的分辨率也并不高，不过至少能满足一部分人小小的自恋

I stumbled upon this deal by pure accident. I just wanted to price match
Targets Buy 2 get 1 free at Best Buy for the Reward Zone points
The price match went easy manger just looked at the Target add to make sure
it included Kinect games and approved it.

looking for a couple Kinect sensors for xmas gifts after my nieces/nephews
played my Kinect over thanksgiving. I finally found that BestBuy .com has
them in stock with free shipping without the need forr the annoying bunndle.
I realize that MSRP is not a slick deal, but finding a hot christmas gift
in stock was worth it to me to write my first post. Hopefully this helps
