It is kind of hard to find apt of 两室两卫. And 两室两卫 often much more
expensive than 两室1卫. However, most 两室两卫 apts are very new and feel
more comfortable.
Most of house and apts are very old, compare to other cities. |

There is a Whole Foods Market here, if you are into organic stuff.
Several Trader Joe's, I love them.
Global Foods is in Kirkwood downtown, I went 2-3 times before getting
tired of it. Parking is fine, not big though. I would worry about
traffic. Driving through there (on Lindbergh between 40/64 and 44) is
bad sometimes. Store setting was old, dirty, and crappy. |

But my apartment in Kirkwood does not charge it to renters.
You can negotiate with the apts and try to exempt both $80 and $20. YMMV
though.
BF mm (porpoise) has rich experience on this. And she has not finish
reporting her apts finding story which began to publish here since last year
at this time.

最喜欢的是晚上坐在外面凉风徐徐地喝啤酒，还是很惬意的。离joyluck不远，沿
manchester往西开点就到了。

再有一个是kirkwood的 highland pub， 周五周六live music。 菜味道一般（没办法
，我是中国胃，除了中国菜，对我来说都是味道一般），份量偏少。 但是最喜欢的是

但是，它往北是黑区。往南是ladue，就是最有钱人住的地方。再往南跑就进入了白人
致上的kirkwood。其实收入很底的一群人。地方也旧。但是很干净。问题是特别恨其他
肤色的男人。比如我，有天早上从那里开车，因为开的是全新的SUV，其实是租来玩的
。警察就给我一个罚单。但是那些白男人对亚洲女生特别NICE。
开车方向不要开错就可以了。 |

I drive 20+ minutes (one way) everyday and took my two daughters there. It
is almost 8 years now. It is the cheapest one we can find among the
Montessori schools in St. Louis. Most importantly very nice teachers there.

上班地点： clayton 附近。 我们都有车，但是不希望commute太远， 10miles之内最
佳。
孩子3岁，2年内不考虑学区问题，但是希望附近有好的daycare.
我们需要环境好一些，当然安全的地区。 Clayton好像太旧，也很贵，不做首选。
研究精华区发现kirkwood 和Brentwood，比较合适。请各位帮忙给些推荐，特别是好的
小区，或者需要避免的小区。

DE这个在DE的2号路上。具体位置是2671 kirkwood Highway, Newark, DE 19711
开车从费城过来，走I95,从DE的4号口，就是到7号路的那个口下来。
沿7号north开，一直过来就交叉到2号路。到2号路左拐，沿右lane开5分钟

有关。 like Longwood garden, Hadley Museum (park). Lums pond state park也不
错. Fishing and Boating: Sailboats, rowboats, canoes, kayaks and pedal boats
are available for rent.
Trolley square 有年轻单身的比较喜欢去的酒巴. Wilmington River front also has
a lot of restaurant (American), for Chinese Bon House (Kirkwood hw and

厨是从NJ的川妹子请来的。我昨
天刚去的，点了一个夫妻肺片和一个水煮肉片，菜量很足，味道也好，觉得和我在NJ吃
的差不多。大厨才来，菜单也才弄
好。老板说第一个月现金结账的话15％ off，以后现金都是10％ off。茶和饭都是免费
的。202上的渝都（Yi Palace）刚
开始也好，但现在都变了，现在渝都老板太抠门，现金都要去一个网站打coupon才能有
10％ off，并且茶和饭都要钱，菜
的量也越来越少，和老板说说，那态度叫恶劣啊，现在好可以不去受气了。 |

看了z00同学的yosemite for dummy，深受启发。我也是个爱四处游荡的人，在湾区8年
，逛过的地方也不少。经常看到版上有人问湾区周围有什么地方可以去玩，我也想把这
么多年走过的地方和大家分享一下。湾区乃至北加州周围有山有海，有森林，有湖泊，
地形起伏变化，风景极具多样性，全年都可以找到游玩的好地方。但是，很多地方有季
节性。所谓在正确的时间，去正确的地方，如果碰巧遇到正确的人，岂不美哉？
下面，就把我老喜欢的地方按月份列一列。我们的口号是：全湾区爱玩的人，联合起来！
一月，是滑雪的高峰季节。Kirkwood是WSN们的最爱， 每到周末，就成群结队carpool
而去，the wall 上呼啸而下的不是雪板，是寂寞。已婚有孩的爱走80去northstar，已
婚无孩的couple喜欢去heavenly，白天滑雪，晚上还可以去赌场消磨。
二月，喜欢滑雪的，还在继续滑。有心人已经开始注意到季节的变换了。湾区春来早，
有些地方已经可以看到野花的踪迹。但是，如果要看野花，二月份应该去南加州。如果
