畏。令我自己也觉得意外的是，这篇长达三万余字的论文我竟然读得津津有味。我想这
是因为王宏志巧妙地把“国家兴亡”和翻译之“为物”这两回事相提并论的缘故。“假
如清廷能认识到翻译在战争和外交中的重要性”，中英对峙的局势，会不会改观？即使

李丹被哈佛等名校录取主要是靠自己的努力。哈佛的录取率只有6%，竞争是非常激烈的
