Alfie的意思是让娃娃从小独立又自己的主见？青春期就不会盲目地跟着同伴走了？
幸亏娃还小，我就抱着，一定要keep the communication channel open，遇到什么具
体的问题倒时候再说吧。实在吃不了，就只好兜着走了，呵呵 :)

如果家长长期经常这样做，后果是等到小孩再长大一点，就会学会跟家长讨价还价，“要挟”家长，令家长非常头痛。那些“奖赏”会混淆小孩的是非价值观，让他们无法区分本来就应该做的事情／自己想要做的事情，以及为了得到某种奖赏才去做的事情，过多把注意力放在物质的reward上面，伤害他们的内在驱动力。“威胁”则更不好，除了上述问题，也是对孩子的一种不尊重，是把大人的意志强行加在小孩身上，会造成小孩为了得到某样东西，不惜扭曲自己的本来意愿，甚至降低自尊－－这样对他们的性格是不利的。

The real love from God (and parents as well) is unconditional with no strings attached; and the real virtue should be virtue for virtue's sake rather than virtue for rewards' sake.

证明因果性。就是说不能只用它来说明因为摩门教的教导导致了抑郁症的增加。Sparty
列出的文献是研究摩门教信仰是不是跟抑郁症有关的。但是具体结论好像还不是统一的
结论。比如这篇文章并没有把摩门的信仰跟抑郁症联系起来。
