Comet C/2002 X5 (Kudo-Fujikawa) is plunging toward the Sun. On Jan. 29th,
it will pass closer to our star than the planet Mercury. Intense sunlight
will hide the encounter from sky watchers, but not from the Solar and
Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO), which is able to block the Sun's glare
using onboard coronagraphs. C/2002 X5 will enter SOHO's field of view this
weekend and remain visible until approximately the end of the month |

我今天还在神6版大声呼喊KKK和RNAi呢，我当不了版主，我也就是趁着这阵子忙于
postdoc这件事上21，而且觉得尽一点绵薄之力也是趁热打铁有啥说啥。
对于KKK德jjww,我是表现的拽了点儿，八戒你也别借题发挥说我名草有主老姑娘啥的，主
要是我不喜欢在好多人问postdoc问题的时候和人打情骂俏，觉得不是很appropriate,并
不是诚心和KKK过不去，我也希望他能理解，真的。没有KKK的postdoc版，就好像没有白
云的蓝天，蓝的也不是那么通透了，而我们，也老是忽略的白云的存在。现在想想真是不
该。
一句话，还是觉得KKK应该回来。看看神六版，一整天也没有啥人在线，不知道kkk在那里
隐居是要修练什么功法，我还是希望kkk能重新出山。因为虽然万法皆空，但是既然身在
红尘之中，这个中滋味 |

澳大利亚国立大学Gaetan Burgion今天撰写长文介绍他试图重复河北科大韩
春雨创立的NgAgo基因编辑技术的经过，得出结论：韩春雨的实验无法重复，而
且与韩在论文所说矛盾；《自然·生物技术》应要求韩公布原始数据；该技术显
然没有前途。
国际转基因技术协会创建者和原主席Lluis Montoliu博士根据这一结果以
及其本人实验室的实验结果，向国际转基因技术协会会员发出一封公开信，建议
停止继续试图验证韩春雨的实验，不要再浪费时间、金钱、人员和项目。
CRISPR谷歌群针对这项技术和韩春雨的文章的调查表明，140个调查回复中，
只有一个（中国神经所仇子龙？）回答该技术起作用，73个回答无效，63个回答
在验证。

We need to give kudos to those Chinese students who hold "unlikely" jobs for
immigrants. Counselors, music teachers, social workers... It just breaks
the old stereotypes that Chinese are either restaurant owners or sweatshop
workers.
As a group, the Chinese in America should not be considered "geek" or "
coolies" any more. As you think about it, we are making history and I am
honored to know all you guys on this board. |

fancy rotating camera, and a programmable heat signature control interface.
Kudos to you for doing it by hand. 4x4 I've done by hand, more then that,
forget it, I know I'll short something out for sure ..lol.. |

I think the key for this case is getting a good history. If you get a good
history, you make a good diagnosis.
I posted this case 2 yrs ago in a physician web site. Nobody got right
answer: Call the girlfriend for more history.
Well, Kudos to Herby BF. Good job. That is why I always think, CMGs can do
as well as AMGs, if not even better.
蝎子BZ was right in the front of door, but he seemed to be too shy to knock
it, didn't he? lol.

a lawyer, frankly I doubt if I really can or even want to understand the
legal intricacies, but what's your take on that? What recourse does Pfizer
have? Is it feasible for Pfizer to appeal to the Supreme Court given there
is not much life left for the patent anyway?

should be a pretty straightforward process. If you think this is complicated
, wait till you apply your Chinese license and apply for FPGEE. Kudos to
Zzll and Kunki, just follow through their steps. If you have questions, ask
for specifics.
One more advice, free: do it early, there is no expiration of the ECE
evaluation for NABP. But you never know there would be new rules in the

1. It's not a joint optimization. For 2, all you can control is {q_i},
likewise {p_i} for 1.
2. Hypothetically consider a joint optimization, what does this p_i~1/i mean
really? It's probably just a saddle point (鞍点), not one of its local
extrema (it's not quadratic). In fact, the maximum is when p100=q100=1 and

大家知道belladonna吧， beautiful lady的意思， 因为这玩意可以把pupil dilated
， 让women 好看。 为什么？ 因为它含有atropine。 大家都知道扩瞳是
anticolinergic effect， 所以如果知道belladonna的beautiful lady的典故， 傻子
都可以从belladonna中萃取atropine。
青篙素是从青篙中萃取的， 怎么萃取的真的不是那么重要， 重要的是为什么选了青篙
。 青篙如果不是中药， 如果没有相关的药性， 屠老太太她再聪明，也不会把它放到
那200种草药中筛选。
科学当然需要运气， 但偶然性里蕴含了必然性。
opium含有morphine， 知道了morphine的结构， medicinal chemistry就可以把它变构
， 搞出成千上万的衍生物， 然后screen出更selective， powerful的镇痛药物。 如
果要论功给赏， 发现opium的止痛效应应该是首首功。
在青篙素的发现上， 我们应该给中医credit。 |

物，而植物是客观存在的。跟有没有中医没有关系。并不是说有了中医的理论了大家才
找到了青篙。
不要替中医冒功。
