前天（9月23日周一），权威移民律师伊拉·库兹班（Ira Kurzban）老爷子以美国移民
律师协会南佛罗里达州分会的名义发文反对HR1044/S386法案。
郭律师首先汉化库兹班律师文章《国会将终结技术工人移民美国》，并加粗重点。其中
之一是库神预测HR1044/S386法案获批会导致全球排期17年；其次，尽管昨天（9月24日
周二）参议员Mike Lee暂时没有再次推进HR1044/S386法案的UC程序，这并不意味着我
们已经安全了。请大家继续为自己的绿卡申请和事业发展打电话、发邮件、面见参议员

发帖数: 182 | 3 其实什么行业都有高端客户，也有低端客户。什么行业也有做的好的，也有做的差的。
移民领域也不除外。
在移民法律业务内做的最大的移民律师事务所是Fragomen，第二是Foster Quan，第三
大的是Berry, Appleman。美国大的多业务律师事务所也很多有移民的业务，譬如
Seyfarth Shaw LLP，Morgan Lewis，Paul Hasting等等。做的好的个人律师也很多，
譬如Ira Kurzban, Carl Shusterman等等。至于说移民不需要做诉讼更是错误的概念。
Charles Kuck是移民领域内非常优秀的诉讼律师。我们所的律师几乎每天上移民法庭，
我们也做联邦诉讼的mandamus actions, habeas corpus，petition for review等等。
哈佛大学法学院等tier 1毕业的做移民法的也不少，去看看morgan lewis的移民律师介

LPR must present admission document upon entry to U.S. or s/he is
inadmissible. Must present special immigrant visa, green card, or re-entry
permit.

effect the validity of the document and it may be picked up at consulate or

3. Must normally be a resident continuously for 5 years subsequent to LPR
status. If married to a USC the residency requirement is three years if (i)

I do not care Kurzban's Immigration Law Sourcebook, I only care about official USCIS instruction. There are too many stup*d lawyers and too many wrong books.

移除到配额之外么？虽然最后也没成，但相比过去十年一直在排期但什么事情也没为后
来人做过的中国EB23们真是强太多了。 |
