机，在外的另一个可以打座机联系。而且nationwide打电话 free and unlimited.
wireless:landline没有wireless可靠，wireless只需买个设备和$9/month service
fee。但只能用于security system,没有座机的功能。
大家是选择哪种？
另外买两层的single house，landline是不是必须的? 还是cellphone就可以应付了。
买房子后，觉得开销大大增加了 :-( |

DSL and phone帐单,和以前一样的价钱, 怀疑是不是没cancel掉.可再打电话就是没人

没有了landline电话，遇到emergency的时候可能会有潜在的不安全因素

多块加税。
我提议朋友取消掉这个，换成google voice + obi或者其他付费landline （比如
walmart里面straightalk 14.99每个月的那种）
朋友说他唯一的要求就是他们餐馆接外卖有时候会有几路电话同时打进来，需要固定电
话服务能有多路来电切换和place on hold功能。最好还能put on hold的时候放放音乐
或广告。
不知道这些功能是跟phone service还是跟话机有关？ GV+OBI或者其他固定电话服务能
否捣鼓出这种功能？ |

提供的，实际上已经变为VOIP了。另外，大中型公司都是用IP phone了，甚至一些牙医
诊所也是用IP phone了。
餐馆要求call waiting，所以什么免费的GV + OBI肯定不行。
楼上提到的吴妈ooma office应该可以满足，应该比现在的200/月便宜不少。
不要求call waiting的小business用GV + 普通ooma组合（3-5/月）比 免费的GV + OBI
可能更好一些。 |

或是随便敲门找人借别人家的电话的，我除了网络，连手机都没有，因为我发现，除了
打911，没有什么事情非得急于立刻接到电话去处理的，几乎邮件就够了.....偶尔有事
，我就用google voice 给摆平了的，还免费的，同时断网和断电，还需要打911的概
率不高的..... |

觉好象是我在车库里的电话线断了。好象是装WATER HEATER的时候全给弄断了。但还不
是很SURE。
感觉这个东西不应该很难，有没有有经验的或者是好的视频讲解的。或者推荐一个好的

Google voice可以port cell phone number，不能直接port landline，但是有人找了
个port landline的办法：
