2月7日,ESA-NASA SOHO太空船上两套不同的仪器发现有一颗彗星正冲向太阳,这使
得天文学家们能够更好的观测它。由于有了LASCO日冕观测仪和在太空中观察太阳的有利
的位置,使得这仅仅是SOHO自1996年以来发现的300颗彗星中的一颗。

在这种场合下,SOHO的紫外日冕观测仪UVCS也再三的观测到这颗彗星。这个日冕观测

要把1岁的小孩送回中国住一段,大人订了往返,小孩就定了随行sit on lap的票
回中国那段应该没有问题,但是如果回美国那段只有大人check in,会有问题吗?

【环球科技综合报道】天体的自然现象总是人们喜闻乐见的。距离8月21日美国超
级日全食只剩不到一周时间。日全食期间天空将陷入一片漆黑.而民众届时也可以看到
太阳周围的星星。据外媒报道,科学家现在表示,美国民众有望能够在黑色圆盘旁观测
到一颗所谓的掠日彗星(sungrazer)。掠日彗星是指近日点极接近太阳的彗星,在运行中
掠过太阳外层大气(日冕)。
天文学家通常使用日冕仪来观测掠日彗星。天文学家表示,如果日全食期间有彗星
从太阳附近通过,降低的太阳亮度有助于民众发现它们。
NASA资助的掠日彗星项目的天体物理学家和首席研究员Karl Battams在一篇博文中
表示:“这对我们来说意味着,在日全食发生的几分钟内,地球上的观察者将会或多或
少地看到我们通过望远镜在太空中观测到的东西-可能包括彗星!”
Battams打算利用像美国海军研究实验室的大角度光谱日冕仪(LASCO)等设备拍摄图

The comet SOHO-422 was first reported on Friday, April 12, by XingMing Zhou
of China, who discovered the comet while watching SOHO real-time images on
the internet. The comet is a new comet, not belonging to any known group of
comets. It will be visible in LASCO C3 images until Saturday, April 20. The
comet was first visible late in the day on Thursday, April 11. It enters the
FOV at the bottom edge, almost directly under the Sun. It is moving upwards,

inside the orbit of Mercury and developed a long and flowing tail of gas and dust, the Sun

咱们生化系不象他们化学系那么霸道,占着新旧化学两个楼,我们很谦虚地躲在LSB的3,4
两层和CMM的一层半.其实话说回来了,咱们学校生物口的摊子挺大,LSB,CMM两个楼,加上
医院的最矮的那个楼的上半部分,再拉拢拉拢生医工程那边的弟兄,收买一下化学系里面
的搞生化的几个实验室,和化学系干一仗没问题.hiahia.
讲完了占地面积,本来该接着讲师资力量,可兄弟我10以上的加法太差,老脱鞋掰脚趾头
总是不合适,就数数系里的秘书吧,嘿嘿,刚好,9个.多吧?可管研究生的就两个,clair和
janet,很nice的两位阿姨.
据janet和clair讲,每年她们都发很多offer给中国,可是不知是不是因为石溪生化排名
太差,应者寥寥,平均每年两个,从来没有过化学系的那种一来就30的壮观场面,我们2000
年那年多,一下子7个,去年4个,今年看看紫霞上lasco的通讯录,居然没有一个?难道今年
我要下面要对着空气 blah,blah了?
