看到的都好贵啊，500左右是mini的，1200才能买到不那么小的：（

near Portland like me :-)
"The Dispossessed" is definitely a better book. I realized the following
thing only after going through it really fast. The time she wrote it was deep
into the cold war. The social structure of Anarres resembles the USSR
propaganda at least superficially. And, am I crazy in thinking that the life
and belief of Shevek is partially inspired by the Soviet physicist Andrei
Sakharov?

发帖数: 2499 | 17 淡水跟海水饵叫法不同，我脑子里swimbait第一反应是joint swimbait，呵呵。
你说的这个基本上就是重心转移的crankbait吧？我没理解错的话。
重心在尾部的投的都远，重心在头部的投的过程中必须都要转一下身，这应该算是基本
常识，谁也改不了，你说的swimbait，重心要在中间，或者靠前，绝对不能在尾部。
比较可行的就是像Ginei那样做一个滑道，前端加一个磁铁，抛的时候重心在尾部，入
水后钢珠被磁铁固定在前端。
那个RM Smith Custom Plugs是拿lathe一块木头直接turn出来的，工艺简单，内部做不
了啥复杂结构，买一台lathe，大家都能做。Ginei还有其他日本饵之所以贵，除了标了
个made in Japan外，做工确实比其他的要好，要复杂，Ginei敢公开他的饵的内部结构
就是因为他的手艺独一无二，别人学不走。 |

有人也管drywall board叫plaster board，but传统的做法是3 coats plaster on
lathing代替drywall board,那种是湿着糊上去的，干了以后像水泥一样结实，你钉钉子
吃的住劲，drywall board把外面的纸斯开里面都是粉，所以挂重的东东不成...
screw因为上面有罗纹，磨擦力比光的nail更强，但drywall本身吃不住劲,所以
你要透过drywall钉到有stud的地方,I think either screw & large nail works on
drywall(remember drywall is 5/8" or 1/2" thick, so small nail can't get
through...) |

Do you work with metal a lot? I worked with wood for a long time now, a few
years ago developed interest in working with metal, but still have very few
tool for it (lathe and some welding equipment). But recently got more time,
so I think I will try to build one out of metal this time, any tips and
