2.点launchpad,列出所有apps,然后直接选取,或者键盘输入名字
3.快捷键打开spotlight,输入软件名称,enter 打开软件
我常用1,或者3.很少有问题.
windows 8 的界面,不是很喜欢.不过可以通过键盘输入名称,快速定位. 有触摸的,慢慢
摸出来,用键盘的,直接输入. |

regular users. yum and apt-get are both good tools, but
for some reason, it never caught on. Maybe because of
the good launchpad site...
Because of ubuntu's popularity, it is very easy to get a
new software that is in ubuntu's repository. I don't think
I know any softwares that you can not apt-get but you
can yum yet. |

Well, google ubuntu eclipse, there is a bug launchpad entry that explains
why it has an 3 years old eclipse.
Bloatware or not, it is still the best web development "IDE" I found so far. |

applications. You can take snapshots, delete, and move data from many of
your favorite applications. As an example: one day, Firefox starts crashing
due to a bad add-on or script. With this application, you could restore
everything to a previous configuration which didn't encounter these problems.
The program is at version 0.2.1 and does not recognize many apps, but allows

pre-release version they are in, use Ubuntu.
Their launchpad is a new and vastly better sourceforge.
If you are not so crazy to try out new stuff, then stick with Fedora.
openSUSE is alright. It has a much smaller user base compared with Fedora
and Ubuntu though. |

You must disable polling to remove the odd behavior, either on the fly via:
# sudo -i && echo N >/sys/module/drm_kms_helper/parameters/poll
or for a permanent solution.
# sudo -i
# echo "options drm_kms_helper poll=N">/etc/modprobe.d/local.conf
# reboot

我把"options drm_kms_helper poll=N"放到/etc/modprobe.d/local.conf以后鼠标倒
是不卡了。但屏幕分辨率似乎受到了影响，字变得模糊了。而且重启系统竟然说要检查
硬盘。不知道什么原因。就把那句删了，当然现在又卡了:) |

Fedora repository can not be compared with launchpad, if you wanna stick
with GNOME.
If you wanna stick with KDE, openSUSE is your best choice.
Fedora is losing its edge... |
