DESERT STORM。LAURIE 还好。CARRIE 自称DIRECTOR ON TRAINING，就一高中生的样子
。当时女儿要去的班是个印度老师，人很和蔼。但很快我们买了LOT 盖房子，要八月份
CLOSE。所以就没去。 |

手。第二次，我站那招呼别的小朋友来洗，没一个动的。俩胖阿姨也一脸漠然。我在那
累计呆了几个小时，就没见两人笑过。
度过了一个惆怅的夜晚，送女儿去她的旧学校。忍不住和DIRECTOR抱怨下新学校。
DIRECTOR说，如果是她的STAFF这样，她会在SNACK时亲自去看，如果属实，就当场指正
，不会提及家长的名字。而且，不给孩子洗手是违反NC规定的，说大可大的事。她建议
我跟那个DIRECTOR谈。我顺便问了问，如果我们不走，又没有位置。得知儿子可以随时
在这开始。
把儿子放在KIDS R KIDS。我就去找DIRECTOR了。三个都在，我一说，LAURIE马上表示
回很好处理。我就回教室陪儿子。LEAD老师带孩子们画画。一个老师接了个电话，电话
一放，就用巨大的声音说＂LUKE＂S MOM COMPLAIN THAT WE DIDN＇T WASH HANDS FOR
THE KIDS BEFORE SNACK！！！＂ 沉默，长时间的沉默。。。。尴尬，我非常的尴尬！

还好女儿的旧学校我们非常的喜欢，要换的原因就是太远了，把我通勤时间活活从２５
分钟变成６５分钟那种。
说戏剧是DIRECTOR和OWNER之后的反应。我不是交了注册费吗，就想要回来。CARRIE，
LAURIE 轮番给我打电话，我只好停在HIGHWAY边上听她们道歉，解释，劝导了３０多分
钟。早干啥去了？
OWNER人不错，答应免费让我俩孩子试两周，退注册费，随便选班级。但是我更心疼我
孩子。所以拿了注册费走人了。
感觉就是那几个DIRECTOR太差了，这么不尊重STAFF，她们能开心么？
回来我们这个庆幸啊。幸好没图近便，也没图摄像头。儿子上学哭了三个星期，老师都
是抱着的。他曾经大哭７０分钟，吵醒两个班的小朋友。老师只是问，如何才能更好的
安慰他。一个月后，儿子就要求每天上学了，还说不想放学，一个在学校玩也没关系。
当初可是天天要求我们给他买张飞机票，想要回中国找奶奶的。 |

美国寻找房地产投资机会，不过有税务专家提醒必须留意美国的税制与加国并不相同。
在离加美边境仅45分钟车程的华盛顿州贝灵罕，是大温民众常到的热门购物地点，而该
市华康湖（Lake Whatcom）一个新开发项目，30多间小房子的业主几乎全部是加拿大人
，这里每间房子价钱由26万9000元起，与大温地区的房子比较，除了显得特别便宜外，
加上加元币值飙升甚至有时高于美元，更让人觉得「超值」。
其中一个业主奥思姆（Laurie Oseem）表示，在这里购房主要是它接近加拿大。她透露
曾经考虑过在潘狄顿（Penticton）、基隆那（Kelowna）等卑诗内陆城市置业，但最终
仍然选择华康湖，主要是她不想每次都要开车四小时。
大批资金涌美 推升房价
其实不但是卑诗省民投入美国房地产市场，根据统计，在2011年加拿大人在美国房地产

【侨报纽约网报道】布碌仑区格林堡(Fort Greene)两处政府楼入住许多华裔家
庭。对此，女市议员劳瑞·康博(Laurie Cumbo)提出质疑，并建议按照族裔划分，分配
低收入群体租住在政府楼或许会更有利。
根据《纽约邮报》报道，3月27日举办的关于政府廉租楼的市议会公听会上，这位
来自布碌仑的非裔女市议员当场表示：“为何这一族裔群体能有那么多人住进政府楼？”
引起外界批评的是坐落在布碌仑格林堡的“Whitman and Ingersoll houses”两栋
政府楼。
不过，华裔市议员陈倩雯表示：“当然，她本可以选择更谨慎的词汇(表达其不满)
，事实是，那里确实入住很多亚裔家庭，他们都是经过申请、获得资格而入住的。”
事后，康博公开道歉，表示自己只是想知道纽约市房屋署(New York City Housing
Authority)在挑选租客时，是否存在文化偏向性优先考量。
对此，纽约市房屋署主席奥拉托耶(Shola Olatoye)表示，该部门并没有这么做。

法拉盛美食從早年便宜又大碗，逐漸開始走中、高價位路線，並兼納中國大陸各地風味
，頻受主流媒體報導。無論在美食廣場、中餐館，或1日舉辦的街坊節，都能見外族裔
顧客專程從曼哈坦、長島等地前來光顧，讚嘆「法拉盛有全紐約最多元的中菜」。
「Am New York」記者Karina Shedrofsky日前報導法拉盛一日美食遊，早點先吃港式飲
茶，大啖燒賣和叉燒包；中午至商場品嘗蔥油餅、餡餅、天津大餅捲、蘭州手工拉麵、
水煎包、台灣飯糰和烤肉串；下午點心是杯珍奶加荔枝；晚餐則再回商場享用西安肉夾
饃、川味羊肉和孜然羊肉。除了訝異許多餐點僅賣二、三元，中國大江南北各地美食種
類之多，讓她驚嘆不用出國旅行，就能吃遍中國名吃。
法拉盛華人工商促進會總幹事杜彼得指出，許多外族裔來到法拉盛用餐，看中便宜又大
碗。「我每天中午只花兩元，就可吃很飽」，他表示長島鐵路車站橋下快餐店兩年前被
