是否只能立即打道回府了？
尤其是如果从学习毕业工作只有半年？
我问这个问题是因为，
今年还有H1B剩余，
我准备毕业，
不知道是否应该立即跳进H1B去。
我做的行业layoff的风险比较大。
还请大家指点一下。

电话说我的CASE一定会被audit,而且90%会被deny.他们说可以继续我的case,或者等6个
月再file perm. 让我给答复. 我有几个问题,想请大家帮忙看看:
1. 那个layoff的美国人的工作内容和我的不搭边, 我做设计,只有我一个人在做这个工
作.这样能不能做为一个理由呢?
2. 如果现在继续做,大概什么时候会被deny? 有没有一个有效的pd? 公司不景气明后年
可能会关门, 打算在明年年初换工作, 就是想弄个有效的pd.
3. 有效的pd是不是要等I140下来才算呀?
4. 如果现在等待, 能不能先把广告什么的做完,到时候就直接file perm.
现在不能换工作,因为要生产了.请大家给些建议, 谢谢先! |

the whole company or a sub-department?
If not directly related to your position in the same department, forget it. |

上周LD公司突然Layoff 整个部门，从Recrutor, Direct 到engineer 30多人90%被
Layoff. 我们有EAD,排期是09年六月的。这周LD有两三个比较靠谱的interviews，运气
好的话应该能在两三周找到新的工作.不知道要不要帮LD先转成H4, 还是直接让她用EAD
工作就好了。
另外， 用EAD后，她以后还可以转回H1B吗？

生效，此时开始公司停办所有人的perm六个月，之后恢复。我的perm没有受影响，也没

走。我的最后一天定在两周后的周五。弄了半天，总算是找到了一个offer。不过我现
在的问题是在layoff之后和新公司上班之前肯定有Gap，这段时间我不知道怎么办，申
请B2吗？我又怕H1b transfer后B2批准了，H1b就被覆盖了。回国行不？等这边的H1b

会能加快点进度？还是会更不想给我offer啊？
我面试的时候没有说我被layoff了，因为他们没有问。我现在因为时间紧迫，不知道是
否应该主动告诉他们，哎，很矛盾啊

给正式决定，下周二还有个更好的公司二面。我们想先把他转成h4，但是我公司律师说
，申了h4以后，h4要approved了以后才能做h1b transfer，可是h4 approve好像要好几
个月啊。。想问大牛们这种情况怎么办？
另外就算他下周拿到offer，下周五file h1b transfer也来不及了吧？如果不转h4，等
被layoff了以后在file h1b transfer还可以吗？有一点小gap要不要紧？ |

知自己的h1b抽中了。之前的公司对移民申请这些问题并不是特别懂，所以短时期之内
应该不会withdarw我的h1b申请，但现在突然被layoff，还没有来得及找下家，也不知
道可不可以h1b被approve之前找到下家可以再次提交申请或者transfer。如果等到了七
八月approve在让下家帮忙transfer可以吗。还是一定要等到10月1好生效。希望大家能
帮忙解答我的问题，真的真的非常着急。不知道大家或者朋友们有没有同样的情况，希
望大家能帮助我。

兄弟我是2007年的PD，正在排队等着交485. 今天突然被雷了。这两个礼拜之内要找到
工作太难了，还正好过节。想请问大家有没有知道那种印度人开的公司可以挂靠，就是
他们给办PERM，然后给介绍去别的公司做contractor。我原来没有留意过这样的公司，
只知道他们会抽很多commission fee。但是现在也没有办法了，想再多等一年半载的能
交上485再说。
如果大家有知道这样的公司，请告之。多谢。 |

都很稳定圆满了。
我还是觉得像是一场梦，心里难受了好几天。我的工资加政府事业救济就刚cover家里
的房，车，用度。
主要还是有些接受不了，shock.我们有绿卡，老公说在工业界不稳定，还是要想办法
faculty或者回国faculty.
我知道他还年轻，过写时间又能找到工作，虽然工资不如现在吧。长期呢，如果在4，
50岁又layoff呢。
我才感觉到现实的残酷。 |

是新人不招亚裔要多少年才能达标？肯定要大批layoff老人。别跟我说白人也受影响，
确实受影响，但是别忘了白人在美国的比例是多少，亚裔是多少。
另外还有更可怕的，大家别忘了性别。把性别考虑进去，亚裔男只有2.5%，男马工究竟
要砍掉多少才合格？ |
