mainly RHEL/Centos),我现在能够进行安装/调试,使用各种例行的工具进行管理(相当
于学完了RH135的水平) 现在想找Linux Administrator相关的工作,但是绝大部分工作
均要求各种工具,如 Nagios, SpaceWalk, OpenSQL,Tomcat,这些对于我在家里来说上手
起来会特别困难,只有在工作中才能学习,但是现在的公司几乎100%的要求里马就能上手
,没有任何时间可以来让你学习.
即使诸如 DNS, SMTP, LDAP, 学习起来也相当的难,不过我正在慢慢掌握,大家可否
指点指点? 我原来的行业给某几个公司给彻底毁掉了,没有任何工作机会(相关的小公司
几乎全部倒掉了,大公司也亏损的非常厉害,这个行业几乎是所有行业中最tough的了) |

的registry API 也implement 了。用的basic auth， 后面连LDAP authentication。
Authorization 的话，自己implement 一些简单的。我也给了API，client 可以
generate 自己的auth token。 我做这个，是把我们所有的secret 啥的做成一个
container。和这个有点象

域管理？域是什么版本的？这个openldap就办不到了。samba好像可以。samba 3可以管
理nt4的域,samba4可以管理windows 2000的域

发现问题 解决问题。解决问题手段也有很多。DBA 有DBA的手段 ，Programmer 有
programmer 的手段， IT也有IT的手段. 业务流程上也可以有自己的优化手段。甚至
ISP那里也有手段可以优化。
用LDAP来存储空票状态，来支持readonly 的查票请求，从而offload 数据库的压力 绝
对可行，也可以scale。信不信随你。
这个订票系统以前年年崩溃 其实服务器端的处理能力不是最最关键的root cause。最
关键的是没有throttling的手段。比如一个电话系统 toll free 接线员哪怕只有两条
线路可以同时开通，就算上百万人同时打电话也不会造成系统崩溃。要么你是忙音 要
么被甩到q里面. 把throttling 按照处理能配置好比其他都重要。这个问题解决了 起
码保证网站不崩溃。 |

CA and CRL comandline utilities and make it a lib for yourself.
thus you have all the utilities APIs to manage ur CA stuff, but
regarding the req revoke whatever operations between Client and CA, the
LDAP is also an open source.
If you don't like to do all these, get a toolkit
from leading PKI vendors like entrust, certicom OpenSSL is not the
way to go, the only useful stuff from there I foun dis the cryptolibrary

Hi, I have a question concerning OpenLDAP which is along with the RH7.2.
I have installed OpenLDAP when I installed the RH7.2. I have set up
the slapd.conf under /etc/openldap/.
However, everytime I use ldapmodify/ldapadd command, it comes out the
error msg:
ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: No such attribute.
I'm new in LDAP. I've read OpenLDAP Administrator's Guide, but couldn't
find the solution. Any highhand knows how to solve this problem?

I am not sure how uid and gid is managed. kerberos only handles the
authentication, has no knowledge of uid/gid/homedirectory etc.
If AFS+kerberos is not enough, should I turn to LDAP or use NIS (only for
uid/gid/home directoyr) |
