When you tie 10mm and 7mm rope together for rappel, pay attention to the
knot. Actually, when you do rappel like this, 10mm rope play a critic role,
7mm rope is more for retrieving rope.

候别人说太难，不带我去White's Bluff，今年去了一天我把一半的路线都爬了，很解
气。
5.8 (L), 5.11c (L), 5.11a (TR), 5.11b (L)，5.11d (TR)
这次是我第一次outdoor sports leading 5.11s。一开始我觉得是不是rating太soft,
同去的人, 平时比我爬得好不少的,居然在我比较轻松的5.11c上都耗了很长时间.后来
觉得是White's Bluff的一些路线比较适合我的风格，指孔crux，小角度的overhang。
周日去了Lady Slipper, Lion's Head。周六爬得太猛，周日我基本浑身软软得没力气。

感觉Lion's Head路线rating比较stiff

危险的运动，请根据自己的游泳水平，冲浪经验选择合适的水域，时间循序渐进学习冲
浪。本贴第一条，安全须知！
1，即使水性再好的人，一开始都要避免在rip current, 它是由其它浪汇聚，从海岸向
海中心流动的洋流。如果游速不够快，很有可能再也回不到岸边。所以切记切记。识别
rip current很简单，普通的浪打到岸边都是白花花的，不是白花花的浪就是rip
current，就像老奶奶缺的牙齿一样。当然了，熟了以后，从rip current可以更快的回
到海中心，就不需要自己手滑水了。
2，冲浪板末端有一个绳子（leash），如果你习惯左脚在前冲浪，leash系在右脚，反
之亦然。如果不系，一个浪下来，板子和人八丈远，游泳过去太累，更重要的是可能伤
人。没有系住的板子，板缘，下面的鳍打到小孩子，后果不堪设想。
3，拿板子进入海洋，板子一定要在你的侧面。如果在前面，一个浪过来，由于向上的
推力，很有可能打到自己的脸，鼻子，牙齿，胸口。不要一边牵着leash，一边进海，
海浪对板子产生极大的向上推力，leas |

但其实 wrangler 开一般人能走的 off-road 绝对是小case，对车来说跟走
平地差不多。风险是车如果万一坏在 unpaved road 上拖车修车的费用都得自
理，这个可能性很小，跟你在平地开车抛锚的可能性是一样的。
我去大岛的时候觉得最正确的决定就是租了个 wrangler. 帝王谷一般的 AWD
SUV 是下不去的，必须 4WD，我和 LD 开wrangler下去超级好玩。不过那个
坡是很陡的，胆子小的自己斟酌。其实没有说的那么危险，可以开的很慢。天文
台只要有 AWD 就可以了，倒不一定非得是 wrangler。Ka Lea 有一个 off-
road park，越沟过坎爬石头，连 LD 都按耐不住off-road了一把。 |
