knowledge test在30道选择题中答对24个就算过。
选择题都是三个选项，基本上都是常识，跟网站上的样题重复的不多。
把manual完整的看一遍是王道。
有几题的第三个选项是 all above 之类的就是正确答案。 |

时候我看广告后，叫父母专门在香港给我带回来（后来内地版本也出来了，不过觉得纸
质没有香港版本那么薄和滑），十几年了，陪了我环绕地球一周半。。。我觉得它很好
用，不过可能有感情因素（因为我觉得它算是我最珍贵的身外物了吧）。但因为是英国
人出的字典，虽然有不少刻意的美式英文用法，估计和美国这边的风格还是不大一样。
我还有一本Oxford Learner's Thesaurus，这本的词汇量不大，因此不能作为一般
Thesaurus的替代（不过在这个年代了，也不用专门买一本Thesaurus，电脑上自带的字
典有，此外也可以到m-w.com上看），但是普通词的细微之分别都写得很详尽，爱写平
实英文的，这个字典很不错。我自己的感觉就是，当不知道一样东西如何表达时，尽量
不要用中译英去找那个词，而是从近义词入手一步一步地靠近理想的用法。这个角度而
言，这本字典挺有用的。
此外我还推荐一本American Idioms Dictionary，有时想感觉说话地道些，可以用

经网络之类的东西火的不得了。这些方法有两个共同特点：预测大致有效（但很少有10
0%有效的），以及学习到的模型难以直观理解。对于实际问题而言，能不能解决问题才
是王道，至于方法后面的科学道理，能理解最好，不能理解暂时也不影响应用。其实我
觉得中医这东西其实就是在中国土地上用人肉神经网络训练了几千年得到的一个模型，
其本上符合目前机器学习的两大特征。你们觉得中医怎么怎么不好我觉得都有理，不过
也应该看到其实科学界也有大量的人在搞类似于玄学的东西。
在来说一下大致有效这一点。说中医包治百病估计不会有人统一，但要说请个郎中治一
下平均下来好过不治，或者好过随机用药，怕是不会有几个人反对。用机器学习的语言
来说，包治百病叫做strong learner，勉强好过随机用药叫做weak learner。计算机科
学最近20年内一个重要的成果就是证明了weak learner，即使只比50%多一点点，也是

发帖数: 2921 | 35 我的8xx是新车全保，应该差不多，这边我师兄驾驶记录良好的情况下全保也要5 百左
右的，没有良好记录的情况下，拿到实习驾照，顶多再省100多点。我的牌照和title下
来的时候就是正式的了，没有临时的问题。
关于learner's permit的问题，我听到有一例，来的时候有本国驾照的，没管那么多就
去拿了learner's permit，结果就得走learner's permit的程序，要半年后才能拿实习
驾照，期间开车身边始终得坐一个3年驾龄以上的才合法。国内驾照等于废掉，白拿了。
之所以当初在国内弄驾照就是想避免这个learner's permit，不然何苦国内弄个驾照，
这边直接先learner's permit，等半年再实习驾照好了。
这个事情我身边的例子都是这样的，也许你身边的不一样。MVA办事情是很没有谱的，
很多事情没有写清楚。其实无所谓，条条大路通罗马。找自己认为方便的办法去做好了。
我下周酒精课考完后就直接去workin，弄弄看看，但愿good luck，一切都象去年夏天

纯visual learner还有个特点是比较内向，因为他做事的时候需要很focus
visual learner一般做研究员，技术员和分析员
auditory learner 比较外向，喜欢语言交流社会交流（灵长类的主要进化优势之一）

learner，还有更细的分法。大部分人是visual learner，俺家娃也是，看当时的推荐
就是visual learner的孩子可以适当的多看些educational的电视，他们学起来比较快

今年2月拿到的learner's permit,
按说是2年的有效期，
偏偏给偶的是8个半月
拿到learner's permit 9个月后才能考路考啊~~~
搞得偶考不了试
跑去问，人家说，当时有一个提供的ID证明是11月过期，
当时没注意啊，坑人啊，一股脑把所有的证明全给ta了，
其他的都是学生身份，5，6年的有效期，
好死不死，ta偏偏挑那个留底
偶想当然地以为是2年有效期，看也没看，当时
现在说是，让偶重新考learner's permit,
以前那个等于过期
真气人，
ta说是不用再等9个月了，可以直接考路考
不相信ta，去网站上查，也没说
有偶这么倒霉么？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？
有人知道这种情况的么？？
