A United Nations panel’s decision to remove sexual orientation from an anti
-execution resolution is “shameful” and may encourage murders of LGBT
people, gay rights campaigners say.
The body voted this week on the amendment, which was passed 79-70. The vast

Antigay Testimony Swayed Md. Senator's Marriage Vote

)都相信性倾向是高度可塑的。而现有各国同性婚姻法的立法依据,都是基于一个
事实,即性倾向是先天形成的、是自身不可控制、无法选择的,是与种族、肤色等
因素一样的天然属性,所以才应该允许同性结婚。同志运动应该以人为本,同志们
健康的自我认同和自我接受才是真正动力。

would give gay and lesbian couples the same legal protections as
heterosexual married couples.
Delegate John Doyle says he introduced the bill Thursday to start a

A majority of Iowans oppose passage of a state constitutional amendment
banning same-sex marriage, a new Des Moines Register Iowa Poll shows.
The poll found that 38 percent favor a legislative initiative to pass a
constitutional amendment, while 56 percent are against. Six percent aren’t
sure.
The findings show little movement on the issue from February 2011, when 40
percent of those surveyed supported passing an amendment, while 54 percent
were opposed.

The recent death of gay man in Chile has aparked public outcry and provoked
a debate about homophobia and hate crimes.
Reports say the 24-year-old Daniel Zamudio was reportedly tortured for an
hour by his attackers, who stubbed cigarettes out on him, carved swastikas
into his body, and mutilated him in other way.

announced today that it will stop giving to the group unless it vows to

SALT LAKE CITY – A federal judge struck down Utah's same-sex marriage ban
Friday in a decision that brings an increasing nationwide shift toward
allowing gay marriage to a conservative state where the Mormon church has
long been against it.
U.S. District Judge Robert J. Shelby issued a 53-page ruling saying Utah's
law passed by voters in 2004 violates gay and lesbian couples' rights to due
process and equal protection under the 14th Amendment.

I agree wholeheartly!
I do not support gay/lesbian marriage, but I do understand its their
personal choices and I strongly support they have the same rights as normal
marriage couple. but just don't expect me to call that a "marriage", because
it is NOT. And if gay/lesbian keep pushing it, I'm sorry but I would start
to think if this gay/lesbian thing should really be allowed.
