发帖数: 1063 | 1 各位..看到很多关于CTU Strikes的言论, 不知道为什么很多都只说老师的工资, 其实
这只是一小部分......
1. 工作量, 有人说老师每天6个小时??? 我不知道哪个老师可以一天只工作6个小时的.
我们跟学生上课的时间没错就大概6个小时, 然后一个小时lesson planning的时间,
但一个小时之内根本不可能把所有工作都做完, 包括跟家长联系(特别是学生比较调皮
的学校), 改功课, 备课,开会, 等等... 经常把事情带回家做是家常便饭.
2. 好吧, 再说工资...现在是2%raise raises over the next four years, 这个够
inflation. 还说什么增加的那些课时...
还有strike最重要的这些原因... 有人知道么? ....
3. 现在很多学校没有美术, 音乐(我现在教的学校就没有), 甚至体育课..也很多学校
没有图书馆(我的学校也没有图书馆)..
4. 其他staff 包括counselors, social workers, librarians, nurses, 这些也非常

钱倒是不多，每个月捐出去的都不止那个数。但他那个乱写的时间太气人了！！！
不过我出来得确实稍微晚了点，回到家一点多了，我自己也有点心虚，该怎么argue？
1. 我进去时看了钟10:40
2. 我进门时librarian正好讲到某个故事，以此作为时间点？哈哈，今天确实讲了个好
玩的故事，猫猫身上的4个纽扣都掉光了，但还剩belly button，staff come，staff
go，但是不哭，啊~~~~~多么有哲理的一个故事啊！

发帖数: 141625 | 8 图书馆二楼(儿童部)进门后，沿走廊笔直走到底，有几个堆满书的推车，上面写着
weeding carts，是图书馆不再需要、打算清除的书。其中有一车中文书，谁要谁可以
拿走。只要和二楼的librarian说一下，他们会在电脑系统上delete该书，把barcode划
掉。我昨天去拿了几本高行健的儿童文学、几米的漫画、民俗故事书等等，挺不错的书
。所剩不多，早去…… |

deliberately set access control， which is the core for copyright protection
。所以规定从1月26号起，unlocking iphone就成了违反联邦版权法的犯罪行为。
荒诞吧？无耻吧？这就是联邦政府保护大资本家利益，欺负小老百姓的又一例证。

they ask me whether I could go over there to volunteer another one, but I
can't do that since I already have at least 3 mornings/week volunteering for
different stuffs.

要找地方住。
根据RealFact周三第三季度的报告，湾区公寓房租较去年上升11.4%，达$2,234/月，为
过去二十年来最高。Studio公寓平均$1,931/月，较去年上升12.5%，二室二卫达$2,562
/月，上升9.2%.
像Ellen Casa这样的租房者不得不搬到湾区外围，那里房租低些。Casa是单身母亲，她
不得不搬离北San Jose二室的townhouse，房租为$2,400/月。她呆在Livermore朋友住
处。她公司在Milpitas，儿子在San Jose上学，所以需要花很多时间通勤。“680交通
很糟糕，可我没有选择。”
由于房租上升，Nancy Molina去年已经从San Jose搬到Tracy。她打算搬回来，如果她

I reserved the room at meeting room 3 from 4:15-6:00 PM.
Please bring in your sewing machine if you have any. I checked with the
librarians and was told sewing machines are ok. :)
