Hello,
I need to write some fortran code to call minoss.f, minos solver, to solve
some linear programming.
This is my very first time to call minoss. I am wondering whether anybody

Hi
I am trying to create a excel sheet to do weighted linear regression. This
sheet is intended to be shared with other ppl as a template.
I used user defined function downloaded from http://www.adamslim.com/ModellingGuides/ModellingGuidesWLR.htm. However, when I copy the excel sheet to other drive or other computer, it always report missing link and the function stopped working properly.
Can somebody help me with it?

I agree with casact.
As I know in my company, people make the judgment subjectively by their
market sense and whether the model fitting is meaningful and explainable. It
is similar when they do feature selection. They just try, try and try. Try
different categorizing, different models, linear or nonlinear, and finally
analyze based on the output tabulation and simply p-value.
They never use some advanced statistical methods. The way they utilize
smoothing methods (Spline, LOWESS..), Simulation (

虽然做了很多年生物,但是惭愧都没有构建过stable cell line, 做之前请教一下做
过的前辈们。看到一些protocol说要先linearize plasmid, 怎么选择位点呢?酶切之
后能用换buffer的那种column 来clean up吗?
此外HEK293T可以用pCDNA6来构建stable cell line吗?

this field is,i.e, how close it is too

I basically have a list of points with

然后求真实f和拟合f的方差不就可以吗?

based on or closely related to the conjugate gradient method. I know it's
commonly believed that BFGS is superior to CG as an unconstrained
optimization algorithm, so I'm wondering why all the iterative solvers are
based on CG type of algorithms?

Not surprising to me.
test statistics is big means that the null hypothsis is false!
here it means "no break points" hypothesis is false,
which means "there are break points".
I am a biostatistician and read a "two phase linear regression model"
paper in stat journal recent days. hehe.

你这个linear system估计是本科的课吧,可能根本就跟control没有多大的关系,说白
了可能就是个本科信号与系统的课的别名,要是真正的control的线性系统的课的话,
那会难很多,你可以看看清华大学自动化系郑大钟教授写的《线性系统》,一般的本科
是绝对不需要达到那个要求的,光整篇的公式就看晕了,不过那种线性系统课没有什么
用处。
