其实吧，小公司和大公司竞争必然有劣势也有优势
只要你小公司不是在和大公司抢饭碗的同时侵犯大公司专利，大公司一般还是不会花时
间来起诉你。关键是小公司主要靠真的创新才能活下来。HTC到底有多少创新我不清楚。
专利法这种东西，有积极的一面，有时候也又负面的一面。
iPhone出来两三年被超得一塌糊涂，其实应该惊讶过了这么久苹果才发起第一个诉讼。
而且苹果是极少主动发起诉讼的。

和lua脚本。v3支持3d。这两个都是有大量商业案例证明的。
其他阿🐱阿🐶就要折腾了。不值得。

I asked the coumputer surpporting people in my department
install a Matlab on my power G4 (V6.5 server version). But
it will only run uner my account, any other users cannot
use it. When others try to run matlab, the program opens
smoothly but automaticlly quits after a second. To me it looks
like other users cannot get the lisence approved from the main
server.
Also, can someone tell me what is X11? Why matlab also open up
X11 every time I launch matlab?

接support regional controller.我现在工作主要是supervise our regional
operation, assist forecast monthly/quarterly review, hold meetings with
office manager, making sure each office meet our forecast budget.现在想申请
CPA license, 但看了以下各个州的工作经验要求，都要有financial review or audit
experience.虽然以前public accounting firm都做过，但，一来，hour不够，二来，
不想找原来老板。所以不知道现在该如何添表.我想知道，如果在公司做，怎么完成工
作经验的要求呢？是不是还要去public accounting干一段时间 |

现在的SUPERVISOR是CPA。
不过我工作中没有涉及到audit或者review的工作。而DC和MARYLAND都要求申请人能独
立从事小公司的AUDIT工作（包括INTERNAL CONTROL，PLANNING，WORKPAPER等）。不知
道大家有没有这方面的经验。谢谢！
还有，不知道其他州的工作经验通常是怎样的呢？如果没有这么SPECIFIC的要求，也许
我可以申请其他州的LICENSE。 |

supervisor是否是CPA。各州的规定都不太一样。建议去你所在的state board网站看一
下对具体的工作经验要求。
在cpa firm里做税务是肯定可以申请license的，经验和audit一样对待。 |

you need to check in first
Q2.you need two forms of acceptable IDs. Both must bear your signature, and
at least one of them must have your recent Photo. (credit cards with
signature, drive lisence, and passport are ok), other than that, please note
you NEED to present your NTS.
Q3. you are not allowed to bring in any personal items into test site. You
personal belongs, if any, are required to be deposited into the locker |

至于不利的地方俺没怎么看出来，好像就是certificate和lisence必须一起拿，不能分
开？

people(most of them are chinese) ask me about CPA. I personal think CPA
ceritified is not CPA Lisenced.

的问题. 本人情况: 会计master刚毕业, 考过了cpa, 有卡.以前在国内有3年工作经验
在500强(非会计),在美国有1年小公司实习,现在在一个也是非常小的公司做accounant.
本人现在这个公司只有15个人左右,只有我一个会计,所以我要什么都做.不过工作很轻
松,没有什么压力,也不用担太多的责任.工作轻松自然工资也不高,刚刚4万过一点,也没
有什么benefit.有点混日子的感觉,拿不到cpa license.而且小公司不正规,老板开人很
随意.
最近刚刚得到一个offer,是一个non-profit,entry level的position.公司大概200人左
右.各项福利都不错,工资涨到5万出头.但是有一个问题就是离家太远.单程开车大概50
mile,而且traffic很严重.或者需要把车开到地铁站,再坐地铁,总共时间要单程2小时.
我很犹豫,因为新的公司: 1.工资高一些; 2.公司大而且正规一些; 3.有cpa,可以拿到
cpa lisence.但最大的缺点就是远. 我有2个孩子... 阅读全帖 |

到了问题。首先是加州不让申请，因为考试前考会计学分不够（我只有21个，要求24个
）；其次是Maine要求public accounting经验，完全没有，也不能申请；第三， 找了
纽约州，纽约州只接受本州注册的CPA签字，我老板是加州注册的，也没戏了。
请问各位，哪个州的条件比较宽松一些可以申请lisence的？多谢啦！多谢啦！ |

两到三倍吧。压力大任务多加班加点，薄厚不更是这样？上班了平时大多数人朝九晚五
，活多的时候晚上会有加班，说家常便饭肯定是夸张了，而且周末就是周末。没身份职
位不稳定是事实。至于学习对职业发展有用的东西，看你怎么定义了，个人和身边朋友
的经验看生物科研上面在公司的确很难学到高新的东西，但其他方面像项目管理，
lisence in, out sourcing等等商业和科研运作相关的方面还是很能学到东西的。 |

老板推荐 Cambridge Structural Database (CSD). 这个好像需要有lisence.有人用过
这个不？好用吗？
另外请问大家有什么其他的数据库推荐，最好可以看到structure with periodic
boundary conditions.
下一个问题，如果可以从某些paper的supplemental material下载结构的资料，用什么
软件（最好免费）可视化呢？

终于找到了1个符合的ordered structure.
现在的问题是，用demo 只能看到 3592 out of 132,526 的结构，我们学校没有购买这
个database. 1年的single license是400英镑，老板不打算出钱买。
请问，有没有人可以短我一个可以用的lisence (经调研，tamu, ucsd等学校买了
database)。或者提供其他的方法进入到这个database, 或者可以帮我查询一下符合要
求的结构：（CIF文件）

2000年以后的，特别是Feng Ping-Yun Group 的.
我知道这个要求有些过分，可是实在找不到其他的方法了。

告诉他们你想要什么执照，然后交几十块钱，交上自己本科硕士反正所有的成绩单，让
他们评估你已经满足了他们指定的必修课选修课的哪些。然后你拿到评估，他们就会告
诉你你还会差哪些课，必修的选修的。
你修够了课是第一步，然后再是考试和student teaching。 |

geologist lisence, my major area is hydrogeology and have both research (
long) and consulting (short) experience. Because I don't have green card, I
am still stuck in school. In waiting for GC, I have not start applying
consulting or government agency jobs. would you mind to post the website
with job annoucement? How likely a consulting firm will sponsor a H1B? |

school sent to ECFMG does not contain HOURS. When I sent the transcript to
ERAS for residency application, I sent the same transcript without HOURS in
it.
But when you apply for lisence in the future, HOUR is required.
