daiyu is not intended to be innocent or pure, all perfect. she threw a joke
upon liulaolao's cost. that's not kind. she ridiculed baoyu in a party
hinting his helping caixia out of a fragrance-theft case. that *appears* not
kind. then immediately she realized tho her target was baoyu but
unintentionally she might have hurt caixia and she regretted. that's sincere
& considerate. she's sometime |

I was guessing your point was to be open-minded and more positive on these
authors..
the sadness in hongloumeng is rather ..eh..grand..and poetic..about things
past, the ruin of youth and granduer in the lost time..etc.., which does not
easily disturb readers' solid view of daily life. besides, there are always
chars that are full of life such as liulaolao and the trivial daily life is
handled in a beguilingly elegant way. it's also a novel set in a closed
community but yo |
