过一个居民区。不知出于什么动机，他们向一个路边的步行者开了枪。受害者臀部中弹
被送往医院---看这伤口位置，没准儿就是打着玩玩---这样的事在美国并不罕见，人称
“drive-by shooting”（开车打靶F）。在开枪前，他们或许注意过，附近没有警车。

为什么警车来的这么快？其实在附近的住户报警之前，警察已经知道了这个枪击事件，
而且知道开了几枪，枪击的地点，甚至他们的车速---从技术上来说，这一切信息的获
取，发生在他们开枪后的几秒钟之内！这就是美国某些城市新安装的枪声定位系统（
Gunshot Location System）。
其实这个系统从理论上讲很简单，就是在某些地方安装了一些麦克风，把听到的声音汇
总到一个服务器，通过一个算法来监视枪声并找出地点。
只是枪声么？基本上吧，偶尔也干一些副业。比如前一阵有一架飞机失事，美国航空管
