6/15: Hiking Mt. Cannon through Lonesome Lake Trail+Kinsman Ridge Trail

Another option for this is: hiking 1.2 miles to Lonesome Lake if you can't
physically hike the whole trail, and walk around the lake (0.8 miles) and
wait for us to come back and pick up you when we summit Mt. Cannon. There is
a hut next to the lake and store you can shop if I remember that correctly.
We will car pool at I-93 Exit 37C Target Parking Lot at 8:30AM SHARP. You
can park your car there since it is a shopping cnter. Or 10:30AM at Lonesome
Lake trailhead, Franconia, NH

One of the biggest activities our club ever organized in sports activities.
None of us ever hiked that trail, I mean, from Lonesome Lake to Mt. Cannon
summit. We knew it was not easy, but we didn't know it was that rocky and
steep in the last half mile. That was why we made a decision to go down by
an easier route to tramway station. With such a big group, safety is always
our most important concern. The great thing is: everybody was back and safe.
If you hike via Lonesome lake trail and Kinsman Ridge Trail, too difficult
and dangerous for kids. I dn't know the other trail is easier than this one
, but you can go up through tramway station (I forget the name of the trail)
. But with your kid, I suggest going up by tram, that's the safetest way.
