seagate就硬生生地在longmont开始搞研发，water pik在loveland没搞出之前大家不都
是用牙线吗？只要不政策向行政机构聚集区倾斜，小村庄一样能搞创新的。这两个镇都
不是大学城。 |

是denver，整个front range地区适合居住的小城市比较多，fort collins, longmont,
louisville, boulder, bloomfield, highlands ranch...都不错，很多适居城市排名
都上过榜，当然是美国人的评比，买郫县豆瓣酱还是不太方便。至于别的榜上的城市
aspen，vail之流，不是普通人能喜欢的，不做评论。 |

小报一下background吧：
FRESH MS，analog方向，在longmont,Colorado，应该不算是大型公司吧？
感觉job market是有点好转，但由于经济危机，导致可能offer没以前的好。不过没办法了，只能忍。
还有就是，对于fresh graduate，monster/hotjobs/careerbuilder之类网站，个人感觉只能当backup，最有效的是在网上pull out a company list，然后一个一个找，直接去公司网站投。（起码我主要是这么干的）
BTW，怎么找apartment和roommate好？特别是，不想找外国人当roommate。。

如果你向往自由，那么你一定会热爱飞行。

坐飞机不是第一次了，但是今天第一次坐Private Pilot驾驶的小飞机，感觉还是很不
同。
坐在大飞机里面的时候，和外界的环境几乎完全绝缘，并没有飞翔的感觉的。在小飞机
里面，和地面离得很近，感觉自己和飞机一起变成了一只飞鸟，在蓝天翱翔。
今天，我们从Boulder起飞，在Flat Iron上空盘旋一阵，然后飞过Longmont, Loveland
和Fort Collins上空，降落在Greeley 机场吃早餐，然后飞回Boulder. 多云的天气，
西边的山看起来都朦朦胧胧，隐约可见Long’s Peak. 并没有觉得飞得有多快，但是
从Boulder到Fort Collins一个半小时的车程，飞不到20分钟就到了。Boulder的地面上
大大小小无数的湖，上次坐热气球的时候就惊讶Boulder竟然有这么的水，这次又看到
了。Fort Collins的旁边靠山有个很大的湖，差点以为是Rocky Mountain National

今天早上晴空万里,无风无云,是飞行的好天气. 大家8:10在Boulder机场集合,约8:15升
空.先向北飞过Erie,Longmont至Estes Park,近距离观察Longs Peak,不过没有在trail
上发现我们登山俱乐部的成员:) 然后转道向南直到Golden, 经Denver downtown和
Broomfield返回Boulder机场.最后Trajan玩了几个惊险动作,使本次飞行成为名副其实
的有惊无险.大约9:30安全降落. |

。我说好啊那你就找找吧。周二Blueland就发来消息说去Boulder Falls吧。我说啊哈
不错我也听说过那个瀑布好像也很近下班过去的确挺合适不如干脆在那儿picnic算了。
Boulder附近那就只有PikePeaker和MayFlower俩了。四个人在msn上开了个碰头会，同
学们兴致勃勃很快就安排了具体行动方案。事情就这么定了。
周三下了班MayFlower首先开车从Longmont过来，一路装上我，Blueland和PikePeaker
。沿Arapahoe向西，在Broadway转上Canyon Blvd (119)一路再往西，很快就进山了。
Boulder这个小城就有这点好，本来就小，还紧贴着山，大街上随便开两分钟不知不觉
就进了山。
119顺着Boulder Creek一路沿着小峡谷弯弯绕绕。峡谷并不夸张却也小有模样。6点来
钟的夕阳斜斜地照进峡谷，小溪流水淙淙，两岸树木葱茏。车轻人闲，刚下了班的人登
时心情就要飞了起来。

Boulder大部分的办公楼view都不会差到哪儿。上次在Longmont注意到那边的山景也很
好，HH家的阳台上甚至直接就能看到Longs。我这边胜在距离近。天天看Flatirons近景
，晨昏变化，四时不同，是我这个工作的很大一个bonus。 |

CU的family housing, 从900来块到1000出头，包水电上网(几片不同的区条件不完全一
样)，如果跟学生合租是很不错的选择。外面就很难找到1000以下的了。如果你有车也
可以考虑住在市外的几个周边地区，Lafayette/Longmont/Broomfield/Westminster都
要便宜一些。
Craigslist是一个不错的资源：http://boulder.craigslist.org/hhh/。如果想跟CU的中国学生合租，加入CU（中国学生学者联合会?）的那个email list会很有用。如果需要的话明天我可以找 |
