to make sure, u can try to figure out using capital loss carry over
worksheet, the worksheet will help u figure out, but most likely u will come
to the same figure, which is total prior year loss, less than the 3k u
claim last year.

attachment point)是5million,那么face amount小于5m的就不再保出去，如果fa大于
5m,就保出去。请问如果是XL on aggregate basis,也叫stop loss insurance,这个一
般怎么model,怎么定价呢？好像stop loss有点像p&c reinsurance的coverage,就是只
管一个layer,比如a/e ratio 110%作为attachment point, 130%作为limit.
还有一般再保险给的价格都是% of VBT table(or other life tables),stop loss的难
道也给这个吗？还是直接给个数...

Loss Ratio必须达到85％。也就是说，保险公司每收到的100美金保费里面，至少有85
美金得花在客户的医疗费用上。这么一来，保险公司的利润率不可能超过15％。政府以
为这么一来，更多的钱被用到医疗服务上，受益的肯定是花钱购买保险的广大人民。仔
细想想，果真如此么？
ObamaCare还有一个规定，就是要求每一个人都购买医疗保险，否则就要缴纳罚款。设
想全美国人民都购买保险的情况，那么保险费总额就达到了一个上限，例如1000亿美金
。这就意味着，保险公司必须要把850亿美金花在美国人民的医疗费用上，才能符合
ObamaCare的规定。但是，如果这一年，全美国人民产生的医疗费用总额只有600亿美金

车子出了大的车祸，只能自认倒霉，车子再怎么修好，也是一辆撞过的车。保险公司只
负责修好车，value loss 那是你自己的事，因此开车尽量避免车祸。
即便人没问题，你还是可以通过律师向对方保险公司索取医疗赔偿，如果这部分钱能
cover你的value loss, 你应该感到满足了。 |

但是他们给的价格太低了，只有$3,000,根本就不够买一辆同类型的车子。都和他们谈
了两次了，只肯给我们加$500.
我给了保险公司车子的AUTOCHECK REPORT 证明我们的车子状况非常好，也给了KBB，
NADA的估价。 KBB，NADA的估价都有$5000左右。 我们也给了craigslist上的价格。
不知道还可以从那些方面和保险公司 Argue? 明天打算找学校的律师，让他们给保险公
司发律师信。不知道有没有用？
另外，可不可以不Total Loss，坚持让保险公司付我们修车的钱？
请有经验的xdjm，帮忙出个主意。谢谢。 |

KBB从Dealer那里买估计要花11000美元以上。
保险公司便根据便宜的价钱给Total loss定价。说周围dealer同等类型的车有很便宜的
价格。
在网上查找的结果是： 附近的Dealer卖类似的车都在网
上标了两个价格，一个是Retail Price，一个是Internet Price。Retail Price价格和
KBB上的相差不多，但是Internet Price比Retail Price要便宜3000美元左右。而且有
些Dealer那里的车的标价比KBB上估价少2000多左右。
给很多Dealer打电话，都说那些标价的车还在，但是2005年的车太老了，不提供任何
Warranty。（这种不提供Warranty正常吗？）买这种车心里没底，会不会很快就坏了？
据说Carfax显示毕竟又很干净。
不确定这里面有什么猫腻吗？
猫腻指的是 1. dealer是否报低价，实际没车或是车不好？ 2. 保险公司以dealer报的
车价为依据，来给车定total loss 是否合理？

并且，车停滞一周后现在无法启动。
insurance说有一种是我现在就拿支票，然后自己去修，我感觉这样不合算。
但是，如果车进入auto body shop后，是不是就只能修不能作为total loss了？
如果还能看作为total loss的话，和insurance谈判时应该注意点啥？ |

语都不知道，net flow啊，delinquency啊，虽然一个个查了知道意思，但还是没有一
个大的背景知识，不知道哪些词是重要/基本。
请问大家现在应该看哪些方面/模型/关键词恶补一下呢？有没有经典的材料可以大致知
道business背景知识的？对survival，logistic regression什么的还是比较熟悉的，
金融里面会用到这些吗？
