in general yes. but it doesn't worth the additional benefit for the additional
cost. I think the cheapest should be fine. |

High dose of fish oil, 2-6 grams a day may help for lowering the
triglyceride, if my memory is correct. |

现在的药：
IV: Edaravone, SODIUM OZAGREL, 舒血宁(这个没找到英文名。银杏叶提取物。)
Oral: Asprin, Oxiracetam,LOVASTATIN,Paroxetine,Amlodipine(Norvasc),Deanxit。
谁能帮我看看有没有什么不妥？倒不是不信任医生。问问放心一点。我自己才DPH-2，
还没学到这些。

wrong I might say...
- I have not heard of edaravone,ozagrel, oxiracetam, and deanxit, and I
wonder if they're available in the U.S.
- Aspirin is just for his heart and anticoagulation reasons
- Lovastatin is for lowering his cholesterol, assuming his lipid panel is
not wihin normal limits right now
- Paroxetine can be used to treat a variety of disorders, such as major
depressive disorder, panic disorder, GAD, PTSD, etc. |

TIA is usually warning signs of stroke, and usually leave no neurological
deficit. the main thing to do is management of the risk factors, including
high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, any heart problems, etc.
looks like lovastatin, amlodipine are on board for cholesterol and BP.
aspirin is on board for anti-platelet. But choice of drug really depends on
patient history. does he has any kind of heart problem? such as Afib? Heart
failure?

Answer: The in vivo half-life of statins are :
Simvastatin：1.9 hr
Fluvastatin: 2.5 hr; Fluvastatin Exdended-release: 9 hr
Atorvastatin: 14 hr, it’s active metabolites T1/2 is 20-30 hr
Rosuvastatin: 20 hr
Pravastatin: 2-3 hr, It’s active metabolites: 77 hr
Lovastatin: 1.1-1.7 hr
Pitavastatin: 12 hr
Thus long-acting statins with long T1/2 (including active metabolites) are:
