再次踏上维州的土地，已经是阔别之后的第五个年头了。一切还是那么的熟悉，踏在维
州坚实的草地上，终于再一次找到了家的感觉。十月的季节，已经是初秋了，行驶在
264公路上，东部特有的淡蓝色的天空下，蜿蜒的道路两边，长满高大茂密的树林，其
中的枫树此时已经变成了红色，间或在层层绿色之中，在纯净的空气里犹如一幅绚烂的
水彩。秋风袭来，五彩的树叶在车窗前舞蹈。切斯皮克湾的大蓝蟹，现在正是肥美的时
候，还记得小吕姐带我们站在海水里用鸡腿钓螃蟹的情形；great dismal
swamp现在也已经到了黑熊的狩猎季节，每年只有100名幸运的猎手才能申请到许可。
每一天,晨曦破曉，轻曼的薄雾會在东部广浩的平原上升腾，慵懶的月亮温暖地悬挂在
半空，而东方的太阳此时也已经缓缓地升起，将一片彤红的霞光洒满在地平线上。我开
车在薄雾中穿行，路边有时有成群结队的火鸡，昂然地在野地里穿行，晨归的小鹿，会
伫立在道旁警惕地观察车辆的行为。很多的时候，车辆的行驶会惊扰到草丛中觅食的早
起的雀鸟，于是无数的鸟儿会扑楞着翅膀从眼前飞起，车子马上就淹没在一片羽毛的漩

，一方面觉得为了人的口腹之欲而剥夺动物生存的权利实在残忍，另一方面看到那些动
物从生到死都在笼子里，靠无数抗生素，激素甚至避孕药长大，实在可怕，考虑到自己
奔四的年纪也该注意饮食健康了，所以毅然改素食，已经坚持一个月豆制品，鸡蛋加白
水煮蔬菜，感觉爽极了，LP为减肥也和我一起。刚开始看到超市里的烧腊还有点馋，后
来慢慢的变成想到红烧肉或烤鸭也毫无胃口。上周公司聚餐全是荤菜，我被迫吃了一个
MEETBALL，没想到恶心的晚饭都没吃。这就是我第二次用意志改变身体，上次是10年前

记录 Oceanfront, Virginia Beach.
2006年6月上旬，承朋友的悉心安排，我们家人在Oceanfront的一套timeshare高层上渡
过了一周，留下难忘的记忆。记录一下，表示对友人夫妇的衷心感谢。文笔太差，看图
说话吧。
1. Virginia Beach的Oceanfront有3 miles 长(4.8 km)的 boardwalk。在这个活动区
域，经常有户外运动，音乐会，展览，餐饮活动。在我们渡过的一周内，就有女子足球
赛，露天拉丁文舞会，艺术品展览三个活动，而且时间都合理地错开了，有张有驰。从
网络上借图一张，鸟瞰Oceanfront.
2. Oceanfront大部分是Timeshare的buildings。房间的阳台全部面向大西洋。从阳台
可以俯瞰整个海滩，下面的人群和活动都尽收眼底。没有好戏的时候，老爸坐在阳台上
读书。
3. 夜晚大西洋的海浪拍打沙滩，声音甚是低沉有力，海风很有劲。在暗夜中，星星点
