China's Xinhua state news agency said it was lost in airspace controlled by
Vietnam.
The aircraft did not enter airspace controlled by China and did not make
contact with Chinese controllers, the agency added.
Malaysia Airlines has told the BBC it will be holding a press conference
later on Saturday.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with all affected passengers and crew and
their family members," said its statement.

作为一个长期坐飞机的国际老混子，距离达到一个地月来回的人，应该有必要来研究一
下这个事情。
结论：消失地点应该在 N：8度0分 E: 103度30分
论证：先看第一副截图
如 果这个人所说属实，那么基本上只要找着两条航线的交叉点就行了，这就是精确定
位。因为大家要注意，只有航班在我国境内由于空中管制很厉害，都必须走航道， 在
大多数国家和地区都是可以走测地线的，我们不妨假定都走了测地线。而一般要到接近
目的地机场才会偏离测地线选择盘旋降落，反之起飞也是一样。所以在离开 起飞或者
降落机场有段距离时一般飞机就在目标机场和出发机场所连接的测地线上
MU5093航班 路线为从昆明KMG到新加坡SIN，而失踪航班MH370是从吉隆坡KUL到北京PEK。
