N年前， 有那么一段好几个月的时间， 公司情况不太好，礼拜五也成了一个星期里比
较特殊的一天。
先是有Layoff， 公司算有点人情味， 不但package不错， 组里还一起礼拜五中午去外
面farewell lunch。 因为一般last day总是礼拜五。 那时候三叠国工作不难找， 大
家一起吃饭嘻嘻哈哈的， 没啥不高兴。
然后， 有人开始跳槽了，组里人觉得既然Layoff的有farewell lunch， 自己走的也得
欢送下， 于是又一个礼拜五的farewell lunch。 接下来陆续地有人走，礼拜五的
farewell Lunch慢慢地变成了一个传统。 周围的几家餐馆几乎都吃遍。 有一家还成了
缺省选择。 那几个月几乎每个礼拜五中午都出去外面吃一通。
最后总吃人家的都吃得不好意思了， 叔也只好给留守的创造个礼拜五farewell lunch
的机会， 被人吃一次。 从此别了礼拜五的farewell lunch。

小人要去个新的幼儿园了, 以前用的Lunch box是Zojirushi Stainless-Steel Vacuum
Lunch Jar，
可以带热的饭，小人最爱吃的是热的noodle，Pasta, 老师帮助从饭袋里拿出jar，再帮
助放在纸盘子里，小朋友再自己吃。
但观察现在的幼儿园基本是小朋友自己拿饭盒出来然后自己打开吃。
请大家推荐个适合3岁9个月小朋友的Lunch box，可以带些保温的热饭，小朋友可以自
己打开的。

special。饭上来以后真是让我们大开眼界：俺点的是回锅肉，就是几块瘦肉片炒包菜
，同事点的是宫保鸡丁，几大块肌肉块炒青椒，而且两菜味道都一样，甜得要命，实际
上就是用同一种sauce炒这两个菜。
俺知道lunch special可能比晚餐点菜做的要差一些，但是这个四川小馆的lunch
special也太special了，从没有吃过这么难吃的lunch，估计就是给老外吃的，咱们老

省钱阿，想着每天省1刀，一个月下来20刀呢，比吃方便面省钱快，买钢琴有望啊。
结果我勤快了没三天（三是实数），娃昨天回来告诉我， Lunch bag早上放校车上忘拿
下去了！下午回来他问了driver, driver说没瞧见。 Lunch bag里两thermal jar, $20
, one bottle , $5, Lunch bag本身也不老少钱，里外里损失$30以上啊，痛啊， 才节
约了2刀，就连本钱都给丢了，败家子啦！
刚我送娃上校车， 指望再问driver一下，怕娃昨天没说清楚。 结果又碰了一鼻子灰，
driver一脸严肃地说“I am sorry I didn't see it. I kept telling kids Don't

right away!"

如果买书包，这个就free了。
感觉挺合算就给老公买了个，以前老公一直用袋子的，
觉得lunch box比袋子的好处就是如果带几个盒子更稳了，因为这个lunch box不大
所以可以放入包中，很方便。
非常同意没必要因为用塑料袋就批评贬低别人的形象。 |

员，第三轮lunch interview跟一个在北加（我local）work from home的组员。对方是
个年轻的鬼妹，约好在附近一个意大利餐馆（不是在公司）吃pasta。
银行职位，去公司onsite肯定是要suit。但是这个lunch interview还用穿suit吗？本
人血热，平时外面50多度都穿短袖上街，所以很怕穿suit，特别是吃饭时候。。。

interview，面试官是一个组员，不是hiring manager。
本人比较土没去吃过，大家觉得面试的话点什么比较好？让人看起来还算有品位，吃起
来又比较简单，不影响回答问题，不容易吃的很难看。
Suppose各付各的还是我请面试官（至少意思意思）？？
不穿西服，就穿个衬衫不打领带行吗？打领带还得一边吃东西一边回答问题太痛苦了。
（是商业银行的面试）
Lunch interview的结束时间是open的吧？要等面试官说结束才over？
还有什么其它要注意的吗？

这其实蛮重要的，像Google明确告诉你lunch不算面试的一部分，而且陪吃的人不提交
feedback。中午吃饭可以好好放松休息养精蓄锐准备下午的面试。像Microsoft，
LinkedIn的lunch就是面试的一部分，那样就需要注意聊天，会很累，所以最好提前做
好心理准备。 |

for this, I have no idea what we can bring for him for the lunch (the school
just says that it needs to be nuts free). I am trying to think of things
