自己动手，买瓶漆自己用小刷子涂上，估计10块钱搞定，看你的手艺了。
如果是你的责任，并且claim乐，你的保险会长，尽管有可能保险公司不用出钱（就是
说也就两三百元左右），但是保险公司有一套软件来算你的risk，有记录对你不利。不
过你这个没有警察的纪录，换保险公司就好了，又是一条清白的好汉。
这个，我觉得私了对你没有坏处。但是，你要搞清楚人家为什么要私了，比如没有驾照
，没有保险，车是黑车，或者对方喝酒了等等，那就算是你的责任，你也可以尽可能的
要求秉公处理，那估计就没有什么责任了。 |

to pick up some body defects and charge you extra $$ to fix them. They would
refuse to paint your car if you refuse the body work.
In your case, they have to sand off your 砂纸一样的漆. The cost depends on
how big the area is. My estimate is $400 for the area of two doors. Extra
charge applies if your car has some dents or minor damages. |

没人能告他们，唯一可以做的就出利用社区的力量，发出声音，让他们不得不改正行为。
以这个 case 而言，Maaco 是家连锁店，所以还可以向他们的总公司举证告发。除此之
外，就只有靠社区的力量向该店抗议。
楼主与我已经留了言，应该会让他们心生警惕。其他人也应该做点事情，人多力量大，
人多声音大。如果几天之后那几张纸还没撤掉，楼主可以拿相片向他们总公司告发。 |

我来美后买过两辆Accord 4dr 新车，第一辆是LX， 第二辆是EX。可是，我自己从来没
有开过新车。
最后买的一辆最cheap,只有$800元：
之前开一辆白色96年VOLVO 850，将近30万 miles。10年夏天没有通过排气检查，太老
了，就开到DMV 依依不舍地把它退休了，顺便领了加州政府1千刀。
马上看到一位白老太在网上卖一辆不能开的98年VOLVO S70，10.5万 miles。跑去检查
一下，发现只是 timing belt 断了，另外车身有些撞坏。老太要价800刀，付了cash
就拖到自己家定点的修车铺，2000刀换了 water pump, timing belt, all brakes,
all wheels and misc。开了几个星期没有问题，就把车身用“水泥”补了，到Maaco
付了680刀，选了最便宜的整车喷漆。还不错，看上去象新的一样。
一共花了3480刀，扣掉加州政府的1000刀，自己掏了2480刀。
好歹是VOLVO，就将就着开吧。省几个钱，给娃买糖吃。
也是蓝色的。 |
