发帖数: 178 | 1 现在手中刚好有garmin mapsource topo和magellan mapsend topo
结合最近走的trail，做一下比较，选取的是同一座山的一部分
用的机器是magellan meridian color + mapsend topo + 128mb SD
首先是offline的地图，对两个软件截屏，选的基本上是等高线300ft以内的
garmin topo:
magellan topo:
两个地图上的等高线数都是它们各自最大的解析度
可以看出magellan的登高线比garmin密一些，garmin略显不足
再看trail图，garmin的一个好处是地图上标了一些trail，magellan没有
garmin trail: 从topo地图上就可以看出来那个虚线，我heilight了一下
magellan trail: 是用实际走过的trackpoint在软件上描绘出来的
可以看出garmin给出的trail基本上反映了实际走向
但有的地方跟实际的路有出入，在所难免
另外选了一张magellan topo的elevation vs. distance的截图

I just saw this online at walmart. It seems like a good deal to me for a 4.7
" screen. It comes with 1 map update. Seems many reviews online dont like
the magellans but we have an old one and are happy with it.

1. 到Magellan下載該機型的update file, (或許還要下載"content management")
2. 在網上找miopocket, 然後試著從SD卡unlock 這臺GPS
3. 用unpacked update files修復

7yrs)的Garmin好像提前0.5mi才报。现在新的Garmin提前几迈？ 早点告诉我的话，有

7” 有时候都不够大，需要iPad尺寸的。
手机？不能完全取代独立GPS。如果有Nokia Here Drive也许会好些，但想看地图就不
够。
