是mixer上的，貌似main out可以调节音量。除此之外，还有什么区别吗？
我现在是用tape/CD out 接receiver输入，不知道如果用main out接是不是会音质好些

The main output represents the end of the mixer chain, where your fully
mixed and enhanced stereo signal enters the real world. Connect these
outputs to the inputs of your amplifier, or powered speakers.
Tape output: Use these jacks to capture the entire performance to tape. The
signal at these jacks the main mix, and it is not affected by the position
of the MAIN MIX faders.
我现在只是把mixer唱K用，接的是Tape output到receiver的input，声音可以出来。这
样接没什么问题吧？ |

周末从Boston出发，开车去maine，来回开了大概550 miles开了8小时左右。,
车：99 Subaru Forester
人：自己一人
路：一直沿着I-95开，回来时发现走一段295不错
高速上收费站太多，nnd，特别是NH和进maine过了那个大铁桥以后，连着两个。
95上很多地方都有专门供cop躲藏的中间地带，树后面突然来一个。
我还比较lucky，在NH那儿的那个卖酒的商店边上休息的时候，发现一堆
cops出来抓人。警笛响的呜呜的
路边森林茂密，听说36出口有个非常不错的Beach，这次主要会故人，所以没去。
在Maine去了趟Acadia Nationa Park. 据说是New England唯一的一个。
确实是避暑圣地，70度的温度，森林，大海，沙滩，雨雾。
camp ground不错，几乎都有游泳池，而西部的NP 的camp ground基本没有。
沙滩上海带挺多，美女也挺多，Acadia里面居然有个美国第四的Golf球场
据说Woods也去。Acadia就是海边一座山，不算太大，不算太雄壮，但是
够有情调，夏天避暑的好地方啊。 |

function？我知道可以用sleep()来等待，但是好像有更好的函数。查了半天没有找到
，哪位朋友帮忙指点一下？有肉包相送，谢谢了。 |

的地方漏水，而且开的越大漏的越厉害。洗衣机的开关也是这样的漏水。咨询
homedepot的人关于修洗衣机的开关时说要整个都换，所以我想main water valve的漏
水可能也要整个都换。心里没底的是：1）不知道把valve拆下来有多难；2）拆下来后
原来管子上的螺纹会被损坏吗？ 3）要关街上的water meter有没有风险，比如关的时
候不小心搞漏了，把邻居都淹了；4）还要买一堆的工具：关water meter的key，
pipe wrench等。
大牛们给点建议，自己弄的可行性有多少？多谢。 |

A serious water main break occurred this morning in the area of 40 Needham
Street.
At this time, Needham Street is closed to all vehicle traffic from Columbia
Road to Winchester Street. Vehicles are being diverted. If possible, avoid
that area and seek alternate routes.

周六天气晴朗，气温零下。是个适合冰钓的好日子。一行5人在Docker的带领下长途奔
袭Maine 的smelting camp。除了docker,其他人都是头一次冰钓，甚至头次摸鱼竿。行
前颇有些担心。结果是从 4am到10pm， 5人钓获50条。
提前20分钟赶到camp, 拿到分配的shack号和海蚯蚓 就可以下到冰面上找自己的小屋。
推开小窝棚门，炉火已经点好，添几块木头 准备烧水泡茶。周围的老美更是把啤酒饮
料流水般运进shack.大家都为夜钓腐败做足了功课。小屋墙壁上有线有钩，但线粗钩大
，还是用自己的竿子好。Docker询问最近钓况，说是slow. 大家也不太在意。2010年第
一钓 有鱼上就满足了。4点钟鱼群还没来，但docker经验老道 开杆没有5分钟已经上了

The one on south main (south main auto) is bloddy black. They charge you at
least 50% more than you would pay elsewhere. At least, I mean. You are reall
y lucky if you only overpay 50% more.
Just goto LongShop. They are the best. If you have to drive back from DC to

10日4pm，Docker 驱车2小时从康州赶到Boston北边和我及greatangler汇合，由我再向
北开2小时去Maine的中部夜钓。2周前，我带Docker和康州的Hermitcrab一家去过更北
的camp, 可能去的太早了，钓的很差。这次从季节，时间，和潮水看都是不错，希望能
钓的不错。
出发前，poof一再提醒我注意可能要下雪，1-3"。Maine冰钓的地方，都是比较荒凉的
地方。最后的钓点，往往是土路。清雪不会像boston这样的及时，彻底。有的地方手机
都没信号，一旦困到里面，就惨了。
我要到poof那取他帮我改造的fly fishing reel, 同时把他的ice fishing rod还给他
。本来要去的路上还，但因为我还要用它来夜钓，poof很仗义地说让我钓玩再还他。放
他家门口就行。
马上要开到ME中部了，poof又来了电话，再次update天气预报，告知要下4-6"的雪，要
我们一定小心。但我们不可能再往回开了，因为马上就到了。再说4-6"的雪，好像也不
是很大。同时，poof告之，有两人钓到了50多lb的smlet. 让我们听了很是兴奋 |

龙虾区分公母的办法之一是：看它的第一对脚。母龙虾的第一对脚小得不成比例。就像
旧社会老太太的裹脚。在Maine，母龙虾是限制捕捞的，有严格的规定。所以在Maine常
常看到的是公龙虾，没有母龙虾。但是在麻州就好象没这个限制，母龙虾比较常见。
给龙虾放尿就是用一根筷子捅进龙虾尾部的那个洞里，抽出筷子后能看到有一股水流流
出来，俗称给龙虾放尿。据说这么做以后可以去除龙虾的一种特殊的气味。我吃的这些
也是都先放了尿的。

本就没有Pond，就是一个卖龙虾的店和几口装活龙虾的大缸。
跟很多东西一样，不同店卖的价钱也不同。如果你到Maine就待1～2天，大可不必大费
周折去寻找best deal，就你吃得那几只龙虾，最好的deal也省不了多少钱，何必费事
呢。
但是如果你有足够时间，消耗龙虾的数量比较大，像我，哈哈，你就有必要了解一下一
般怎么起找最好的deal。每个店的价格都略有不同，分类的方法也不同。就我在当地旅
游时稍带侦查的经验，现在介绍如下：
1. 春墩桥龙虾店：
在主干道上，游客必经之路，大房子，有10来个伙计忙活，也提供堂吃服务,也就是帮
你煮熟，给你提供盘子/夹子。
软壳： 1.5磅以下，4.95/lb； 1.5磅以上，6.95/lb
硬壳： 1.5磅以下，8.95/lb； 1.5磅以上，9.95/lb
以上是活虾价格，如果堂吃，一律每磅加2～3刀。
2. 旅行者龙虾店：
牌子挂主干道上，但是需要开进去10几米才看到铺子。就一间房，总共只有一个老头服
务。只卖活的。

the shorter balls up over the net with fewer going under. It's harder to
get the first flat serves in at least at the beginning. I felt better
placement making and improved plow through on my single hand backhand.
Maybe it was just that the new strings work better. I tended to leave the
poly mains too long until the cross multifilament broke, when the mains were
long time over due. |

1)毕竟是群众性比赛，人多热闹，如果能有30名左右的选手，就最好了；
2)一些牌友还是学生，扑克只是小娱乐，以牌会友的初衷；
3)和平时周赛的$5块buy-in差距太大的话，不是很利于同时进行的最佳牌手评选，因为
一个main event的第x名可能就比前面累计最高的积分都高很多。main event可以得很

几位说实话差距也不大，因为多拿次把冠军，马上就上来了。
即使分数还在两位数，没有分的同学，完全可以靠6月24日(周日)的年中main event来
翻身，buy-in两个比赛都是平时的一倍，所以可拿的分数更多。为公平起见，这个main
event只有年中，年底两次，都是double buy-in而已。 |
