我其实没太想过以后找工作的事儿，只要硕士这两年能开心过就可以了，所以学习本身
，老师人品以及当地的环境是我更在意的。之前收到University of Illinois at
Chicago的半奖，虽然觉得芝加哥这个地点本身很有吸引力，实习比较好找，学术也相
对有名些，但是老师比较冷淡+要家里贴钱+大城市的生活质量比较低，所以我还是选了
Maine，只要它够田园够友爱够单纯够和谐，我就满足了。。。嘿嘿。当家庭主妇在我
心里来得比做女强人快乐。 |

不大生活也很压抑，大多数都是被忽悠的，当年呆着没意思把phd给quit了呢。芝加哥
气候也不如Maine，没有必要因为个大城市而牺牲生活品质。UIC 周围给你的感觉跟

我也刚从缅因回来。进了山，下了海。随便说两句海边。山里特别野，要是喜欢看动物
，就去Greenville那住住，早点起，晚点归，能有惊喜，看大
moose。Greenville那还有个Cruise，叫Katahdin号，3个半小时，那湖是灰常灰常的好
看。那边的pond特别多，喜欢摄影的不容错过。这些地方都是以静以野取胜的。单单一
个Baxter State Park就可以玩个10天半个月，我就不多说了，喜欢野的，不想看到人
类痕迹的，就直奔那去吧。那美的叫一个震惊啊。
MDI 以及周围，我印象最深的还是吃。我就是个吃货其实。Trenton大桥的龙虾就不说
了，大家都要在那个烟囱那留个影不是。就一个提醒，人家7点30之后就不让你堂吃了
，只能外卖。第一天晚上到那，就吃个闭门羹，只能拎着龙虾再开10几麦到旅店
