去costco, h mart，第一件事情就是要有parking lot。然后才能shopping做头发指甲
之类的。类似的，老公就是停车的趴位。有了趴位，才能有小孩家庭，开始enjoy life。
结果，美东类似车多趴位少。擦，于是为了抢趴位，就有各种奇葩的行为了。有看见车
倒出来，下去站位的。类似女人撕逼。有double parking的，类似渣男脚踏两条船。有
在边上打灯等的。类似大奶脾气不好，小三在等上位。
推车买菜的国女，一看年轻的时候就不是省油灯。都是类似那个四大为爱鼓掌的
maloney liu的瓜子脸，三白眼。就是脸上都开始长斑纹了。有种old cheese的感觉。
然后，这把年纪了，身材依然很好，一点不走样。当然，比较也都是美东的女人，是

热议。近年来，在加入美籍的人数呈上升趋势的同时，一些公民放弃美籍的新闻也不断
见诸报端。美国护照是“甲之蜜糖，乙之砒霜”吗？放弃美籍背后的原因是什么？严格
的海外追税是否伤害了普通人的利益？
有人加入，有人离开
美国是接纳新移民最多的国家之一。成为美国公民有三种途径：父母是美国人，子女可
以根据亲缘关系成为美国公民；出生在美国，可以根据美国法律规定的“出生公民权”
成为美国公民；通过在美工作、居住、与美国人结婚等途径，可以归化（
naturalization）成为美国公民。
根据美国国土安全部的统计，近20年来通过归化加入美国籍的人数持上升趋势。从2010
年开始，这个数字稳定在每年60万到80万人之间。

Canola 油的迷思与真相
大约是十几年前，市面上突然出现了一种新的烹饪油，英文叫做 Canola Oil。
起先只有在专卖 」健康自然产品」 的店里才能看,
但因为政府及私人公司都广为宣传这种油的好处：
纯植物提炼、不饱和性脂肪、低胆固醇、比别的植物油还理想…云云。
既然连政府都这么说，大概是不会错了；
于是乎关心自己和家人健康的朋友，都纷纷买回去做菜。
它在北美洲的销路直线上升，没多久也引进了台湾。
但是，Canola 油 到底是什么东西做的呢？
其他的油都可以从名字望文生义：
如橄榄油，当然是橄榄的油；
花生油是花生仁的油；
椰子油是椰子果实的油…等等。
笔者心生疑惑，查了极详备的东华大辞典，竟然没有这个字。
去年某日，笔者重听雷博士四、五年前演讲的录音带，赫然得到了答案。

生硕博毕业工作，立马就拿绿卡了。还用扯什么排期呀h1呀.
只是不知道共和党这次上台，能不能重提并通过当年那个法案。估计也悬。
