I don't know what exactly "kind of regular" means. but if you read his
answer now, it is not hard to find that manti is shying away from telling "
we met on-line".
If he is intentionally trying to mislead reporter, he would certainly be
more definitive.

所以 Manti 确实在Dec 26号反映了这件情况；

不排除有的可能，但是现在没有消息）
关于主犯，Ronaiah Tuiasosopo这个人是主谋之一。

你所指的规定里有:"UP TO" 这两个字。这就是说，最大，最长，最久的意思。
他们是说：check有效期最长可以达到4年。而实际上对于具体的案例，要不要check,
领事官员有最终的决定权, 而可以完全可以不管上次的check是否还有效， 这在文件里
也写明了。
至于说决定check这个是否和国籍有关，我不知道。但是我怀疑多伦多领事馆以国籍来
决定check的长短，这个应该不对，至少不适用于中国。
尽管多伦多领事馆给你取消了check, 但是这个只能算是个案 (是因为主管官员回复邮件的失误)，肯定不能算是成例。

Mantis clearances are now valid for 2 years for H, L, or O visas, 4 years
for F/J-visas and 1 year for B visas but if there is a change in duties a
new mantis can be requested.

新英格兰航空博物馆（New England Air Museum）位于康州首府Hartford郊外的
Bradley机场旁边，除了常规飞行史展览，还有模拟驾机等有趣活动。康州各镇图书馆
常有航空博物馆的free/promotion pass出借。我们前几年趁着圣诞假期去玩：
正逢雪后，开车倒没问题，但可惜的是室外展馆不开放，只能隔着篱笆恋恋瞅一眼：
