Italian auto maker Fiat SpA F.MI +0.84% said on Friday it is cutting a
quarter of the workforce at a large plant in Poland that makes its Fiat 500
and a small car for Ford Motor Co. F +2.02% amid shrinking demand for new
cars in Europe.
Fiat, struggling to stem losses at its operations in Europe where its sales
have slumped to lows not seen for decades, said it would cut 1,500 of 5,800

DETROIT—Chrysler Group LLC freed itself of government ownership in the
second quarter but continued to struggle with profitability.
The auto maker said its net loss widened to $370 million compared to a net
loss of $172 million for the same period a year earlier. The loss included a
one-time charge of $551 million related to the paying off of loans provided
by the U.S. and Canadian governments to keep the company operating after it
filed for bankruptcy protection two years ago.

who also runs Chrysler, told automotive journalists at a briefing that the
Town and Country will be discontinued for 2014. Chrysler would focus solely
on the Dodge Grand Caravan. Automobile says the Town and Country could be
replaced with a crossover that would be intended to compete with the

Maserati在90年代初还在De Tomaso旗下，说白了也就是个山寨作坊
后来被收入FIAT旗下，还是有相当长的时间靠Ghibli II那样的产品强撑着
说实话，从技术角度讲Ghibli II那是相当原始的车了
之后的3200 GT/Coupe/Spyder/GranSport实际上设计也蛮落伍
真正走向现代化，还是这代Quattroporte和GranTurismo成长起来以后的事了
统共没几年，还别说里面有多少是Ferrari工程师的功劳？ |
