Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge是一座桁架拱桥，横跨在达拉斯穿城而过的三一河 (
Trinity River)上，连接了达拉斯西部和市中心.大桥主塔高400尺, 由58根固定桥梁
的拉索结构支撑了1870英尺长的桥身.
这座桥由西班牙建筑师Santiago Calatrava设计. 这哥们特喜欢用拱形,搞了很多美轮

要说Gone with the Wind, 还是先说说 Atlanta吧。
最开始知道亚特兰大是因为96年的奥运会还有那本以Atlanta为发生地的著名的《
Gone with the Wind(乱世佳人)》，高中外语老师最喜欢的小说。后来到我第一次来美
国时，在AA的飞机上，和坐在我左边的一个阿姨攀谈，她当时是随着女儿去亚特兰大。
阿姨很朴素坚强，完全不懂不懂英语，对着金发胖胖的“空姨”不停的比划，倒也总能
表达自己的饮食preference，当然了，飞机上本来就没有很多食物选择。闲暇时和她聊
，她也慢慢的娓娓道来：女儿和女婿已经在亚特兰大定居，还有两个可爱的孩子⋯

再后来因为考试认识了一个在Atlanta工作的朋友，出去玩的时候很想stop by一下

市儿童福利院。
彼时，42岁的美国单身女人Margaret Cook正在大洋的那一头，耐心等待。她是一名小
学教师，热爱中国文化，并于1991年向中国方面提交了收养申请。
1992年6月，Margaret接过襁褓中的女婴，为她取名Jenna。
在Margaret的精心照料下，瘦弱的女婴如今温婉可人。她会跳中国舞、会滑冰、会用筷

昨天去旧书店又拿回来好多书，还看到很多流行畅销小说，如果有人想要可以告诉我。
先说我拿的书：
Khaled Hosseini: The Kite Runner. 看过电影。可惜没有A Thousand Splendid Suns
，我看过中文版，感觉很怪异，很想找原文看一看。这人写东西是比较煽，有市场头脑。
Tracy Chevalier: Falling Angels; Girl with a Pearl Earring. 看过后面这个电影
，看过她的另一本The Lady and the Unicorn，她喜欢用名画写小说，也是流行文学的
路子，不如Dan Brown那样文笔成熟，不过聊画聊古代文化，还有可看性。

发帖数: 12296 | 47 2012年，Teresa在Facebook上看到了全身将近70％烧伤的Sarah照片和求助信息。她大小腿粘连在一起，不能走路，当时她只能趴在小板凳上，靠双手划着移动。今年夏天，Sarah第一次参加运动夏令营。她尝试着攀岩、游泳、打球、游戏（左下）。2015年7月， Sarah给Teresa讲在夏令营中发生的事情。“她特别信任我们，似乎能明白我们的到来，是她的生命的转折点，开始新的家庭生活。”Teresa一直确信，在Sarah出生后，亲生爸妈一定是很宠爱她，也许是烧伤后没有能力治疗，才放弃她。
2004年1月Faye从江苏省宜兴市人民医院转进宜兴市儿童福利院，11月被收养到美国，在纽约的医院诊断为轻度脑瘫。2015年6月，Faye和妈妈在一起玩耍。Faye很高兴在美国长大，在纽约和现在居住的马萨诸塞州有很多朋友，她经常和同样从中国收养的朋友们聚会（右下）。Faye始终希望能有一天见到亲生父母，告诉他们，感谢亲生父母给了她生命。
