网易科技讯 8月6日晚间消息，据知情人士透露，美国芯片公司Marvell正在考虑10亿美
元出售其无线芯片业务，大唐电信与上海浦发投资正在考虑购买。网易科技进一步消息
获悉，大唐电信已经与Marvell签署了备忘录，但需要提醒的是这不是最终协议。
今年芯片市场可是“多事之秋”，新加坡半导体公司Avago刚刚以370亿美元收购博通，
英特尔拿下Altera。美国芯片公司Marvell（美满）就又有变动。据悉，Marvell考虑10
亿美元（约62亿人民币）出售其无线芯片业务。之前有消息称，CEC和联想想收购
Marvell，但后来不了了之。
昨日，来自彭博社的消息称，大唐电信旗下的联芯科技和上海浦发投资两家正在考虑出
价购买。对此，网易科技联系联芯科技相关负责人，表示并不知情，而且即使购买也应
该是属于大唐电信集团的行为，而不是联芯科技。

都在湾区
marvell asic verification 给71~72k
juniper的software testing给了84~85k
两个小朋友都是ee 10~15名之间的学校master。
为啥marvell就这么小气呢？
这个在marvell是普遍现象吗？
marvell在湾区pay的工资跟SD的qualcomm都没法比啊 |

新浪科技讯 北京时间11月20日午间消息，据路透社报道，知情人士透露，芯片制造商
Marvell Technology已经同意斥资60亿美元收购同行业的Cavium，希望借此向网络设备
领域扩张。
该交易将帮助Marvell逐步降低传统存储设备领域的比重，向更多领域分散。该公
司去年接受了对冲基金公司Starboard Value提名的3位新董事。
知情人士表示，Marvell计划在周一宣布通过现金加股票的方式收购Cavium。但双
方均未对此置评。
去年掌舵Marvel的麦特·墨菲（Matt Murphy）已经对该公司展开重组，他不仅裁
撤了一些员工，还希望在数据中心和无线通信市场增加产品和服务。
总部位于加州圣何塞的Cavium生产网络、安全、服务器和交换机处理器及系统。该

几乎从公司开伙就是这个结构，实权在老板娘手里，这次做storage的老大上位当CTO，
说明marvell还是在靠storage吃饭，更大的问题是兄弟分家，长远看不是好事，Pantas
之前带过很多重要的项目几乎都砸了，最大的问题就是xscale的那个mobile cpu做残了
，进了当年最大的arm processor市场占有者，一手好牌，结果落了吊车尾。
Marvell公司里的政治斗争非常夸张，别的公司是一边做事，一边斗，这公司是甩开膀
子直接拿business斗人，关键还是家族式企业的问题。这次提拔上来的cto是sehat当年
做storage起家时的好兄弟,对marvell这两年看重的mobile产品并不熟悉。 |

Q的RFA team在弯曲是八国联军，印度人没有那么多。Analog team由于工作性质，在哪
里都不会轻松。entry level，非project lead，Q应该不会比M/B更累。说印度人多，
大概是software/firmware，每个组的情况不一样，不能一概而论。而且Q里的印度人，
很多很聪明也很努力。
从growth和culture而言,Q应该都胜过Marvell。 虽说排名没有绝对意义，但是Q常年排
在top 100 employer里，semi公司能呆在list里的不多了。而且，Q的cash足，
fianacial很solid，经济不好的时候，基本没有layoff。Marvel的business目前似乎不
是很明朗。侧面参考：从Marvell或别的公司类似级别进Q的有，从Q离开类似级别去
别的公司的很少，几乎没有。
作为个人，在大公司里都是螺丝钉。如果package和项目区别不大，应该选Q。 |

marvell是有这个名头在外面, 实际情况并不是这样的.
看你做什么了. 做前端系统和数字的不能说累. 后端比较特别些, 一般是一阵一阵的,
即赶工的时候很累, 不赶的时候很闲. 模拟的不清楚.
我觉得谈不上血汗工厂. 刚创业那会儿可能大家比较拚命, 但是话说回来, 哪家公司在
创业的时候不是这样呢. |
