发帖数: 26 | 7 我5月10号的首半马：最后成绩1:56:15，计划跑进2小时，比既定目标快了将近4分钟。
气温摄氏20度，跑步有点热。Local的小比赛，大概有800多人跑完Maryland Half
Marathon。因为人少，除了开始的2迈，大部分的路线都没有封路，只是在路肩上摆一
些traffic cone, 大家在路肩上跑。我开始跟着2小时的pacer，2迈左右超过她，开始
自己跑，想要追上1：55的pacer，不过最终也没追上。因为训练时最长路跑只有8迈，
一开始没什么信心，不敢全力跑，就压着速度，怕到最后跑不动了。到了7迈的时候，
感觉很好，体力不错，就开始提速，一路不断超人。7迈和10迈各吃一块GU gel，在水
站用水冲下，对维持体力有很大帮助。一路上看到好几个人轮流推着小车跑，车里坐着
生病的孩子，这个比赛就是给马大癌症中心募捐的活动。这些推小车的是一个叫
WINGMAN-ATHELIC HELPING ATHLETIC的志愿组织，超过他们的时候很受感动，也给我增
加的信心和力量。最后一迈开始冲刺，快到终点看到老婆在等着给我照相，和家人击掌

这个靠近Friendship Height地铁站，比较新，就是电视机老了点
难得美国有不用出地铁站就可以逛的shopping mall
这里一条街全是奢侈品，很奇怪，maryland税点是多少啊？这家很新，就是电视机旧了

很幸福的一对新人，大方，热情。自己操办婚事在美国还是一件比较挑战的事情。新郎
从未名找到我，我们确定了婚礼
之后到DC去拍外景。临近婚礼的几天我们都很紧张，因为天气预报一直是雨，如果那样
，婚礼将会移步室内，而后面的
外拍也可能会告吹。周五我们驱车从NY到MD的时候，天气极坏，是强烈的雷暴。也许正
是这一场大雨，第二天的婚
礼，反而换来了艳阳高照。不得不说，就连天公也作美。 |

发帖数: 972 | 19 DC的气候我觉得特别好，可能因为我是北方人。我觉得DC的气候有点类似于北京的吧，
但是空气质量比北京好太多了，而且雨水应该比北京多，所以还比较湿润。
DC不算大，但是文艺气息很浓，达芬奇在西半球唯一的画作就保存在national gallery
of art。而且DC有河，附近也有点小丘陵，所以算是有山有水，而且DC附近的
virginia和maryland也都是森林覆盖率挺高的地方。DC往南一点就是George
Washington的故居，虽然房子挺破的，但是风景是真好，要树木有树木、要河流有河流。我去年10月
去的时候，正好那天下小雨，那条河上有cruise，坐在船上，真的是烟雨如画啊～让人感觉——江山如此
多娇。
DC吃的也很多，有非常正宗的意大利餐馆，跑堂的都说意大利语的。
我在san antonio的河边吃牛排看风景，感觉糟透了，就像是在吃路边摊，吵死了。而且texas传说中
的牛排真是比树皮还难吃。
我觉得美国能和DC的文化气氛以及自然环境相媲美的就只有boston了。chicago都不太
行。而且DC的外国人很多，也比较开放。

住在DC和B'more之间的Arundel Mills附近
还没有本地朋友，但有带来的小猫一只
3年前读书的时候从shelter领养的
领养之后搬家搬过5次，城市换过两次，也算是见过世面的猫咪了
因为工作上偶尔要出差，想找几个本地朋友可以互相帮忙照顾小猫

。小狗很是活泼可爱，但因为工作的关系，有点力不从心。另外家里可能有老人过来，
思前想后，决定转让。
